Lila's mother Alley (neighbor's cat) had her and her littermates on our deck (in a doghouse/cathouse) on a rainy Easter day in 2007. Since we were planning to find homes for Lila and 2 other littermates we gave them temporary names. Lila was called lil' sis. Which is funny, because now she is bigger than Big Sis (Lulu). After 6 weeks, and they were beginning to jump out of the enclosure we made to keep them safe, they were brought indoors. We were unable to find homes for the three, so lil' sis became Lila Mae and she became a part of our home. Lila has been spayed.
Lila has 4 littermates: Mo, Tiger, Lulu and Boss. She has a bro and sis' they are: Bear, Titi, Bow Tye, and Scaredy. She has 2 nieces: Fluffee and Star. Extended family includes: Patches, Socks, Oreo and Kitt.

Milkyway, my fiance, and I are going to be married. We are planning on either a late summer or early fall wedding.
He sent me beautiful flowers then asked if I would still marry him.
I said Yes. I am very happy. :)

October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came—
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
The Chestnuts came in yellow,
The Oaks in crimson dressed;
The lovely Misses Maple
In scarlet looked their best;
All balanced to their partners,
And gaily fluttered by;
The sight was like a rainbow
New fallen from the sky.
Then, in the rustic hollow,
At hide-and-seek they played,
The party closed at sundown,
And everybody stayed.
Professor Wind played louder;
They flew along the ground;
And then the party ended
In jolly "hands around."

It has been a while since I wrote in my diary. The last entry was about Milkyway coming home. I'm sure most of our friends know that he went missing again, about the same time that his mom moved. She went back to try and find him a few times. He has not been seen by neighbors. For now I pray that he is with a loving family.
Because he is missing, it is difficult for his mom to post for him; and I do understand. His mom also told my mom that I could consider myself free. We may no longer be a couple, but I will always continue to hope that he is safe.
I am doing great here at home. Bringing in burrs for mom to comb out of my fur. Lying under the bird feeders, watching the birds swoop down to get food. I still love headbumping Mom too.
Boxes are the BEST!! Mom laughs at the different kinds of boxes she finds me in. One was a box that a part for sis' GMC Jimmy came in. Donald said they could take me back for the core charge!! MOL
Love and Hugs,
