I've told my mummy it's about time she started me a diary - My brofur Alfie has got one - mummy said it's because he was tagged twice and it spurred her on. I don't really mind because I love Alfie and have to look after him. Did you know he only washes his bottom and I have to do the rest! MOL!
Sunday is "Mother's Day" here and we all put our pennies together and went to the shop and bought our mummy a card. It's a lovely one with cats on the front and says:
"Happy Mother's Day"
From the Cats
Today is all about YOU.
Tomorrow we go back to it being all about US!"
I hope it makes mummy laugh!

Ooh, I'm so excited, I've just got a beautiful bunch of tulips from my Secret Pal and last week my pal sent me a big ball of wool to play with and a lovely bluebird to sing to me. Can life get any better?

I'm just so lucky! I had a special delivery today. A beautiful goldfish swimming round in a big bowl. It's my own special pet to take great care of. Meowmy says I mustn't overfeed it or it will be poorly so I give it a sprinkling of special fish food just once a day. I've told my brofurs and sisfurs that it's MY pet and they can watch it but must never touch it.
Do you know where it came from? I'll let you into a secret - It was a gift from my Secret Friend!

When mum went onto the computer today she couldn't believe her eyes. All my brofurs and sisfurs (except Alfie) and I have received a rosette (a fantastic American flag) and a message wishing us a Happy 4th July! We are a big family of 14 earth kitties and 5 Bridge kitties and do not usually get many rosettes. We don't expect them with so many of us! Alfie gets a lot 'cos he's the first on our list - it's just the way it worked out but our mum loves us all so much.
Thankyou to our anonymous donor and we all wish you a very Happy 4th July too.
From Albie, Jack, Lucy, Snowy, Blackie, Minky, Tigger, Cathy, Queenie, Gwinny, Minky II, Justin,Rani, Poppet, Pippa, Vivaldi, Annie & Trixie (and Alfie too).
On 4th July it's the birthday of one of mum's very good friends and they're going out for a meal to celebrate, so when mum has a glass of wine she's going to say "cheers, God bless America and all my American friends".

I've been tagged by my friend Roger Bleu to name 6 things I love. This should be easy peasy 'cos I'm such a placid loving kitty and there's nothing really I don't like. (Mum said that, not me!)
Here we go:-
1. I love my mum and look into her eyes and give a little miaow 'cos I know for sure that then she'll stroke me and talk to me.
2. I just love being talked to and answer back every time.
3. I love my brofur Alfie (he's my real brofur actually) and wash him and look after all his grooming requirements. LOL.
4. I love to sleep at night cuddled up to another cat, mostly it's Alfie but sometimes it's Snowy, Blackie or Minky (my sisfurs).
5. I love Friday nights 'cos Friday night is always ''Tuna night' - it's our weekly treat.
6. I love all the kitties in my family and have never had a disagreement with any of them.
Now I'm going to tag the following kitties:-
Titch
Bruce
Beardsley
Sybil
Gleek
Violet - He (yes he) looks like me!
I know most of my friends have been tagged a lot so if you don't want to play it's fine by me!

My brother Alfie and I had the best birthday ever and received the most beautiful gifts, lovely birthday cards, best wishes from our groups and lots of pawmail.
Our pages are overflowing with birthday hats, baseballs, beachballs, red hearts, cupcakes, bluebirds, butterflies, ladybugs, flowers, delicious cartons of milk (all with wonderful messages) and we got lovely birthday cards too.
Our friend Alfie (from Luton) sent us beautiful hand-made birthday cards in the post - we just love them and they have pride of place on our mantle place.
The Tabbies with Tudes and Pawsitive Pawsee groups made us the most beautiful wallpaper on their main pages. When we saw them we couldn't believe our eyes and felt so important. Thankyou Queenie and Roger & Humphrey for those.
The Thundercats group threw us a party, the spread of food was just so delicious and the decorations amazing. We were so sorry that we could only stay for a short time 'cos our mum had arranged to see a friend. It was so kind and thoughtful of them. Thankyou Mommi Thunderbear.
Mum made us all a special tea - there was Tuna Imperial and chicken and (talk about cat's chorus!) she sang Happy Birthday to us! Our present hasn't arrived yet (mum you should have organised it earlier!). We heard her talking to her human daughter Louise about some boogie mats she's ordered all the way from America, so we're really looking forward to getting them and are listening for the postman every morning.
We just didn't know we had so many special friends on Catster and send our heartfelt thanks and purrs to each and efurryone of them.
It really was the BEST Birthday ever!

I've been tagged again, this time by my beautiful Siamese friend Hershey.
I have to say (1) 5 things I like to do in Summer and (2) 6 things I don't like.
I'm just going to play number (1) 'cos I've already played at number (2). Here I go:-
1. I like to lie in the sun in our garden - well just for a little while and then I like to go under the bushes where it's shady and cool.
2. I like to watch my twin brofur Alfie in his paddling pool.
3. I like to watch the moths outside the window when mum puts the light on at night. I talk to them and tap on the window to make them move.
4. I like to sit on the bench outside next to mum and put my paws on her lap.
5. I like to roll on the catnip plant in our garden. You have to be quick in our house 'cos it doesn't last long with all of us!
I'd like to invite any friends to play, especially those who haven't started a diary yet.
Love & purrs Albie

Albie is on a drip in the hospital. He nearly collapsed at home this morning and was screaming in pain and was rushed to the emergency vet. He's having tests tomorrow. Please purr for him. He's the sweetest gentle little boy.

Thankyou all my friends for your kindness, purrs and prayers.
Albie went to the Bridge at 2.00 p.m. today. He had a cancerous tumour deep in his abdomen which was inoperable and treatment wasn't an option. He only had his yearly check-up recently but it wasn't detected and was an agressive form of this awful disease.
I'm heartbroken and so is Alfie - he's desperately looking all over the house for his brother. They have always been inseperable.
The support of my Catster family is overwhelming and although the tears are flowing it's a great comfort. When I can I'm going to thank everyone personally who sent purrs, prayers, rosettes, pawmails, e-mails & messages.
Love Albie & mum Jennifer

Meowmy couldn't believe it this morning when she turned her computer on and saw I was Cat of The Day. What a lovely surprise and it brought a much needed smile to her face! She only wished I could have been with her so that she could treat me! I tried to send her a message to say I am with my angel brofurs and sisfurs and have so many loving friends here and I'm doing fine.
-----------------------
Albie's meowmy here:-
I'm still in shock at the sudden passing of sweet Albie and totally overwhelmed by the kindness of all my Catster friends (my extended family really). Albie has received so many pawmails, e-mails, lovely messages in the forums and groups and an abundance of gifts on his page (lots with beautiful pictures and all with kind and comforting messages). Thankyou to Norman and Sir Alfie & family for the lovely kimis and for organising the tribute photo stroll for Albie. I've looked at every photo and every message - mostly in floods of tears and aching to hold Albie once more. I'm sure, after a little time, I'll feel better and just think of the wonderful years we had together. So many other much-loved babies have gone to the Bridge recently and my heart goes out to all their families and loved ones.
Alfie is missing his brother terribly and has never left my side today and he spent yesterday looking all over the house for him. I'm giving him and his brofurs and sisfurs my undivided attention just now because I know Snowy, Blackie and Minky are also missing him too, although not as much as Alfie is.
As soon as I can I will send personal pawmails and thankyous to everyone for all their kindness - it really has been a great comfort to me.
Love & purrs from Alfie, furamily & mum Jennifer
A message from Alfie:
Thankmew to efurryone who has sent me such kind messages and gifts 'cos my much-loved brother has gone to the Bridge. Meowmy is going to help me to thank you all soon. xxxxx
