Coming Home November 24, 2007!

Hey everyone!!! Me and my twin Tiskers are new to Catster! We aren't home yet as our pawrents are bringing us home November 24, 2007. I can't wait to meet my 3 brothers Boogers, Hondo and Fido! When our pawrents visited us 3 weeks ago, I couldn't believe how nice they were! They said me and Tiskers were super cute! I can't wait to make new friends!

November 20th we go to the V-E-T to get "fixed". Hmmmm that'll be interesting as I didn't know I was broken???

I know me and Tiskers look a lot alike, but as of now, I'm less fluffy than Tiskers, I have taller ears, my left front mitt has more white, and I have a tiny brown patch on my back leg :) See you all soon!!

To Mittens,

Your daddy and I are so excited to bring you home forever! Since we first met you 3 weeks ago, it has been so hard to be patient while waiting for you and your twin, Tiskers, to come home. You have three great brothers who are also very anxious to meet you!

Your auntie Barbi and family are a huge part as to how you came to be our baby boy! She put in a good word for us, and when we got news there were 3 babies available, we knew it was the right time to expand our family! We weren't sure who would be coming home as there were 2 Mitted Raggies. But the 2nd family backed out and when I told your dad this, he said we should adopt both of you!

And it's a good thing we did because after we saw you both, there was NO way we could have picked just one of you...

We named you Mittens as a homage to Snowmitts. After we first laid eyes on him, we knew we would one day have a Ragdoll. Since you come from the same parents and look like him, it was only fitting to give you a similar name :)

See you November 23, 2007 and then you'll be meeting your brothers and coming home for good November 24, 2007.

Getting Fixed tomorrow!

Oh dear... Me, Tiskers and Biscotti are getting fixed. After much pleading how we three are NOT broken (if it ain't broken, don't fix it?) we are still getting "fixed". Hmmm... So at almost 3 months we're broken? Really?

I know my pawrents and Biscotti's pawrents are a bit nervous, but they know things will go smoothly even though we'll be a bit sore for a few days.

Mom is soooooo excited to see us interact with our brothers. Mom is certain Hondo will take us in within seconds as he's the sweetest cat you'll ever meet. He welcomed Boogie and Fido with open paws. Boogie will be ok as long as we don't eat his food :) Fido?? Ummm that's up in the air. When he came home it took a few days for him to accept Boogie and Hondo but a lot of that has to do with him never living with a cat before. Now he and Boogie are besties.

What worked was having the three brothers play with Mr. Feather together! But we're told by many that most older cats are less threatened by lil' ones :)

Snip Snip went well!

Phewwwwww I'm home safe with my two brothers sleeping :) We survived the snip snip! So that's what they mean about being "fixed". Hmph!

When we got home, me and Tiskers went sleepy sleepy while Biscotti was in full force! He was running around and eating!

Me and Biscotti also weighed almost 3 pounds at the vet, while Tiskers was a whopping 4 pounds! MOL!!! Boogie doesn't know what he's up against :)

Meeting my parents today and a DDP?!?!

HOLY CATS! I'm a Daily Diary Pick! And what a special day it is too! It's almost 5am EST and my pawrents are getting ready to pick me up and bring me home finally!!! They will be staying at *PICASSO'S* home tonight and then leaving NJ to VA. I can't wait to be HOME for good!!!

I'm going to be a bit behind on thanking my friends for my honor in my groups, but I will get back to you all :)

My mom didn't sleep much as she's excited to bring me home. Dad kept snoring MOL!! So good that he got sleep as he's driving.

I'm homeeeeeeee!

MEOW!! I'm home! At last!! Wow, we're a bit behind on catster, but I'd like to thank everyone again for the warm welcome home and for my DDP yesterday :)

We had such a blast meeting Picasso's family! Mom couldn't believe how amazing Auntie Barbi's cats were! Picasso greeted mom first and OMC! She was so excited :) You could tell from his breathing right away that he is still dealing with his Cardio Myopathy :( It was quite sad, but we're so glad he's in a great home that takes care of him and loves him.

Snowmitts (my brother from a different litter, same parents) was pawsome! He took to me, Tiskers and Biscotti like a mom :) He was so fun to play with and what a handsome cat.

Kashmere? We did see her and mom and dad got to hold her, but she was a bit shy. Very very pretty :)

Cocoa was a riot, talking on command, and just a cool cat! He hissed at dad and mom laughed.

Jaspurr was a bit jealous of us... He wasn't sure who we were and why we were there, but he finally accepted us all :) Picasso was a bit unsure too at first, but he was sorta playing peak-a-boo with us! MOL!

Aspen is just gorgeous. His pics don't do him justice! He was very sweet and a great dude.

We got some cool gifts from Auntie Barbi that we'll post tomorrow! I miss them and my brother Biscotti, but we know he has a great new home :)

On the drive home, I was brining mom to tears as I kept meowing... FOR 3 HOURS STRAIGHT!! Tiskers was quiet :) But we're glad to be home! Hondo loved us! Boogie hissed at us, but later was meowing at us :) Fido? Ummmm we gotta work on him. He's like Jaspurr, a bit jealous...

Within minutes of coming home, we received a beautiful arrangement of flowers from *CALI AND LEO* !! OMC! How sweet of them! And then the next minute we got a call from Barbi and she too received flowers! Thank you much! You made our mom's eyes leak!

We also had a very nice welcome home card waiting for us from *COLLEEN*! How very nice of her! She likes HK like us :)

1st night in VA went well!

Man oh man! We slept so well! Me and my brother Tiskers slept with mom all night. I like to cuddle next to her where as Tiskers likes to sleep near her heart. Maybe it reminds him of our furrry mom?

We just got done with MORE of that clicky thing. Hondo said it's called "modeling". Hmmmmm... We are all doing well and mom can't get over how cute we are! Boogie, Hondo, me and Tiskers are all set to go. We're working on Fido in slow spurts.

I find it funny how the big boys stare at us. What, do we have food in our fur? Why do they stare?

Anyway, we also wanted to share what Auntie Barbi gave our pawrents when we came home :) She gave mom a cuteeeeeee seal point wooden cat sitting on books as she knew mom loves to read. Also she got a yummy candle and some Greenies for us! The breeder Lisa sent us home with some Royal Canin, catnip, Fancy Feast moist, and a nice scratching post!

MEOWWWWWWWW chirp chirp!

Hey everyone! It's official. As of today mom has agreed that I'm super vocal. I meow all the time, heck, I meow when I use the box too! The breeder said I was pretty loud and often would meow if I was separated from Tiskers and she wasn't kidding!

I'm eating more food than Tiskers :) My goal is to out weigh him first. I do not like Kitty Kaviar but Tiskers did. We loveeeeeeeeeeeeee Gerber baby food! We're eating beef in a bit :) Is it me or does the moist food taste better than dry? Hehe.

I like to lay right next to mom at night and Tiskers LOVES mom's pillow... He's often on her pillows sleeping :)

1 kitten shower party I can attend: CHECK, 1 bday party I- can't: CHECK

I'd like to give fellow HK Fan Club members *DIEGO AND LULU* a meow out as they were so kind to throw a Welcome Home Kitty Shower party for me and Tiskers in the *HK Fan Club* !! Our family is so touched!!! We are huge Charmmy Kitty fans here as she's cute and fluffy like us! The following cats attended and we would like to say THANK YOU!

Diego, LuLu, Rocky Ann, Boogers, Hondo, Ele', Polka Dot, Furman Dexter Baggins, Calvin, Sugar, Eve, Pixel and Cali!

As for the party I can't go to? It's my brother Fido's girlfriend Allie's party!!! HISSSSS We haven't been on catster long enough so we can't party... Hmph!

Blink? Blink? Blink? BAT!!

I just discovered the art of blinking. Mom was playing with me and then I saw it happen... *blink* OMC! And then she did it again, and again, and... I got right up to her eyes and watched and then *BAT* MOL! Mom laughed.

Who knew blinking would be so fun!
