Arrival Story: Mama had always wanted a black cat. She was in town and just popped by the animal shelter. Well, there I sat, just a baby really at two years old, in a little cage all alone. Needless to say she fell in love with me! I came home with her right then and met my big sister Taillee. It took us a while, but we get along great now. ;)
Bio: I ended up in the shelter by accident. My previous family passed away and there was no where else for me to go. I'm also going blind in one eye. My doctor says it will be a gradual process and for mama not to move any furniture... ;) It confuses me sometimes when I can't see stuff and I cry, but mama's always there. *March 8, 2009* From what mama could determine, she's pretty sure all the sight in my left eye is gone now. If she puts her hand on that side, I don't see it until the peripheral vison of my right eye catches sight of it. Explains how Lilly keeps sneaking up on me...

I know I'm late making my entry. Mama has had a headache most of the day so she let Brian have the computer and just rested. She and I are both so thrilled and happy I was chosen!
It's been a long week for mama. Some of you have read my entry about little Whayte going to the bridge. We lost another feral Wednesday. Mama doesn't remember seeing him before, but so many come by. He was starving and terribly injured from what looks like a dog attack. He was put down and buried next to where our sister Tigger rests. We know lots of angels met him when he arrived and a few days later, sweet Jazzi's mom sent a feral up there too so he's got some "wild" company... hehehe. We know he's healthy and whole now.
I wish mama would write in my diary more, but she can't even keep up one of her own. And I don't really do much that's interesting except eat, drink, sleep and purr... mol!! Thanks so much Diary Gal for thinking I'm interesting enough! ^~~^
There's an outside kitty here mama calls Pretty Bit. Back in April, she had kittens. Mama saw them for the first time last weekend and got a picture. We don't know how many she'd had, but she was on the front porch with three. Mama was gone all this past week and it appears one died while she was gone. Someone was coming by to make sure there was food so we guess something was wrong or maybe he was caught by a car and laid down behind the azalea bushes and passed. Mama found him today and buried him in the back yard. She's calling him Whayte, since he was white and gray. Really, we don't even know if he was a he or a she, but the name will work either way. The gardenia bush back there had one bloom coming up on it so mama pulled it off and put it on his grave. Please say a little prayer and ask the angels to watch out for him.
As the two white and gray kittens look so much alike, we don't know for sure which of the two it was.
Dylan tagged me almost two months ago!! Sorry it's taken me so long... this is why mama likes pmail... leaves a reminder for her to do things for me... mol!!

1. I meet mama at the door when she comes home from work.
2. I flop on the kitchen rug sometimes and roll over rubbing my head on the rug... this make my back leg kick and makes mama laugh.

6. When mama sleeps on her side, I stay in front of her face... she rolls over, I move too.
