Arrival Story:
Mama had always wanted a black cat. She was in town and just popped by the animal shelter. Well, there I sat, just a baby really at two years old, in a little cage all alone. Needless to say she fell in love with me! I came home with her right then and met my big sister Taillee. It took us a while, but we get along great now. ;)

Bio:
I ended up in the shelter by accident. My previous family passed away and there was no where else for me to go. I'm also going blind in one eye. My doctor says it will be a gradual process and for mama not to move any furniture... ;) It confuses me sometimes when I can't see stuff and I cry, but mama's always there. *March 8, 2009* From what mama could determine, she's pretty sure all the sight in my left eye is gone now. If she puts her hand on that side, I don't see it until the peripheral vison of my right eye catches sight of it. Explains how Lilly keeps sneaking up on me...

Purrs for Alfie and Family

Tragedy has struck us almost dumb. Sweet Alfie has journeyed to the bridge, far too young and far too suddenly. The story is in his diary. We are so shocked and sad for his family. Please send purrs for them as they come to terms with this sweet boy's loss. They are a wonderful family and we love them very much.

Our dear friend Arnold P still isn't doing well. Mama just told us he hasn't eaten or drank in three days. He's gotten fluids from the vet, but his mom is so very worried that he's hurting. Mama's all leaky just thinking about her out there and hoping there are friends somewhere near by to hug her because we can't. Please keep Arnold in your purrs. He needs them so very much and he's always so willing to purr for others. Please purr for him to pull through. He's only a teenager after all... it can NOT be time for him to leave!

Arnold P isn't feeling well! He's at the vet's in Okie and not doing well right now. All angels who aren't there already should be descending on that vet's office shortly to watch over him and bring lots and lots of angel dust!

Also, a new angel is among the ranks up there. Captain has gone to the bridge at only four years old. His family is devastated. Please keep them in your purrs.

A friend's mom is also very sick right now. Isabelle Love and family's mom, Leslie, is in hospital with severe breathing problems. Please send purrs for her to get well and be back home with her kitties soon!
