I had to go to that lady again. You know, the one who pokes you with needles and sticks things up your butt. I;m a stoic if it must be told and I usually take visits with a grain of salt and much dignity--you should have heard Oni yowl the first time, while I just sat in the carrier and looked serene! But this time the "Nice Lady," as my slaves insist on calling her, got dreadfully upset because of a tiny little spot on my ear. She called it Ringworm, which, from what I gather, is not a worm at all but something even worse. because I didn;t get off just having to swallow a pill, no sir!

I HAD TO HAVE A BATH. As if cats aren't clean enough!

I tried my best to make my displeasure at this activity known, but -- get this -- the slaves could not be deterred from soaping me with smelly shampoo and then with an even worse solution of bug killing product. I did leave my marks on them, frest assured.

I thought the worst was over after that. But no. Now I have to be continually smeared with foul-smelling ointment all over my ears. This had earned me the epithet "stinky head," which my meowmiepurr seems to think is cute. Oni and Elvira laugh at me. I can;t hold my head up for shame.

Dear reader, if you have ever suffered this terrible affliction, weep with me for the tortures I must undergo until it is cured. another bath has been discussed.

I remain yours,

Obsidian
