Arrival Story:
HI! Mom went to adopt a kitten at the shelter, and lucky for me, she couldn't resist me. She'd already picked a kitten, but I looked so much like Tigger and I was the exact same age, that she took me too! wheeeee!

I love to get into things. I love hiding places. I used to be a real scaredy cat; I ran and hid from strangers, and it took me a long time to get to know somebody. But once I did, I became a real love bug. In fact, through all of the years of love my mom has given me, I have become the friendliest of the Krew! EVERYBODY claims that I'm "hers" (yep I'm a woman's man) But don't get me wrong; I am happily married to Patchez... the women I refer to are mom's human friends and family. I have a loud deep purr and love to lay on my back and do "air paws"! I'll tell you a secret.... when mom was dating her husband to be, I got jealous because I thought he was taking her away from me. So when he visited, I peed in his suitcase!! (TWICE!) Mom thought it was hilarious. Since then I have come to love my dad too. I'm glad I am with both of them, and I don't pull my pee-stunts any more! ***************** On 4/27/13, I was diagnosed with an inoperable cancerous tumor in my throat. I am going to live my life to the fullest for as long as I can. ***************** On 8/11/13 at 9:49 am I lost my battle with cancer. I put up a valiant fight for 3-1/2 months, beliEVEing every step of the way. My family continues to beliEVE and cherishes my wonderful memories as my sweet spirit lives on and visits my home always.

Mom wrote a letter to me on the anniversary of my cancer- diagnosis while Catster was down...

Now that the fleas are gone, I get to read it and share it with my friends with love and purrs...

To Poo

In the words of Anatole France “Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.” In the words of Mahatma Gandhi “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”

I believe in these words. It is also said that time heals all wounds. Some wounds will just take a long time to eventually heal, if at all, in my humble opinion.

Today (April 27, 2014) marks the 1 year anniversary of Poo’s untreatable cancer diagnosis. I wish that time could have helped heal the wounds; I suppose it’s helped a tiny bit, but it cannot when it comes down to it being your most special little buddy, who had his life taken by an unfair disease at a young age.

My tribute here is in memory of my Beautiful Brave Boy today, who fought cancer so bravely for 3-1/2 months. He and his best cousin Sugar Bear went in for surgeries on the same day; April 25, 2013. Sugar for her lumpectomy and Poo for a routine dental. Thank God Sugar Bear has beat her mammary cancer and continues to be in remission, to fight and thrive thanks to the love of her Mama J. As a result of the mass found in his throat, Poo’s dental was cancelled, and thus ensued our bittersweet journey.

Poo fought together with us, hand in paw and paw in hand, until he looked at me and told me with his eyes, I can’t fight any longer. We granted him his wish on August 11, 2013.

There is magic in beliEVEing. The lovely orchid that Jo Ann and Peggy sent to us in Poo’s memory is ready to bloom again. AND... the bird of paradise that bloomed once last year in my memory, now has two huge buds reaching for the sky, ready to burst in bloom. (this is me and my SoulKitty Aggie, doing dual work together) :) Thank you, my friends who I have never met, I do beliEVE, I believe in the wonder of angels and that Poo’s spirit stays near and close.

To Poo. I love you always and always more.

I echo Maria in saying that people who love animals are the sweetest, kindest people I know. My prayers go out to all who are fighting this disease, human, feline, canine, all. Little Molly included. It seems that cancer is running rampant and out of control among our friends. Bless you all in your individual journeys.

My beautiful wife is COTW! I have been reduced to a happily, blubbering mess of happy tears! ConcCATS to my beautiful wife PATCHEZ! (if you click on her name, it will take you to her page) :)

I cannot tell you enough not only how much I love you, but how PURROUD I am of you as well! You are so beautiful on the front page, I could gaze at you all day long… (well, I DO, MOL)

My sweet Earth Angel, I continue to watch over you from above… purring love and light into your heart every day. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me… I love you always and always more. Until we are reunited again; and hopefully not for a long time yet ;-)

Catster friends, lets celebrate, dance and purr together! I am over the moon with joy!
