All by myself I can do this! I learned even before Obi and Oni although they are bigger and older then I am. And I never even had to scale someone's leg to get up there.

All sorts of wonderful things happen on the counter, many of them having to do with FOOD. The preparation of food happens there. There are often dishes left on the counter that have had food on them. And of course, as food is my main interest in life, I make many trips to the counter to find out what new kind of FOOD might be in store for me.

This evening Meowmiepurr was doing something called "baking cookies." Well, of course it had to do with food and so I generaously offered to help. But she did not want my help for some reason. Although I kept offering it again and again, she kept putting me down and telling me that chocolate was not good for me. I thnk not, Meowmie! I can smell this thing called chocolate and I know it is good for you as you seem to dwell on it quite often. But as you licked the bowl in which this wonderful substance had been mixed did you offer me any? No!

I'll get even for this. I'll have some chocolate...one way or another.

Now what, pray tell, is sushi?

I;m not exactly sure what a diva is, but Meomiepurr says I am one and I like the sound of the word so I thought I'd use it in my diary title.

It;s not easy being the littlest of six cats, you know. One has to rely on sweetness and cuteness and sheer tenacity to get what one wants.

Like the other day, Meowmiepurr was eating something that smelled Soooo Gooood! Sweetness did not seem to help here. Neither did making my demands known in a polite manner. I had to climb up her leg and arm and hold on while snatching the treat out of her mouth. Meowmiepurr affected not to be pleased with this behaviour but I could tell she thought it was cute because she broke off a goodly portion of what she was eating and gave it to me, and me alone.

Meowmiepurr claims that she has yet to find a food I won't eat and that may be true. I'll admit the apples from the pancake topping were not my favourite but they did have an interesting flavour and I would be willing to try them again. I would also be willing to try the small morsels Perowmiepurr refers to as Razins, of which he seems rather fond, but I haven;t had a chance to get at them yet. He is much stricter about letting me have what I want. Last night I had to climb ibnto the bowl of tuna to get a taste. Now I ask you, is it fair to make me go to such hard work?

Perowmiepurr claims I have the roundest belly of any kitten he has ever seen. You don;t think my pictures make me look fat, do you?
