My proudest moment - I became a meowmy!

How wonderful that my very first diary entry is about something so wonderful! I feel rested today, and ready to write about this wonderpurr event!

I know that all of my furrmily's Catster furriends as well as my furrmily were waiting and waiting for the birth of my kittens after I was taken into my furever home about 3 1/2 weeks ago..... Meowmy suspected and took met to the vet, and she confirmed that I was indeed expecting after doing a sonar! And what's more, she said that she thought it would be within the week...and that visit was on 18 September already - so of course efurryone was waiting in suspense *giggles*

And then, this past Saturday the 6th of October, it happened! I felt that something was going on, and starting pacing around the house, peeking everywhere for the purrfect spot...and settled in the study (which meowmy had kitted out as the kitten nursery-so it was the best possible place to pick!). Sure enough, at 2pm South African time, I went into labour! I knew exactly what to do, and meowmy says that she was and is so proud of me! 3 hours and 4 kittens later, it was over....and how beautiful my babies are!

Thank you so much for everypurr who purrrred for me, sent messages, rosies, stars and furriend requests - knowing you all were there made it so much easier! And a special thank you to little Princess Puddin Pop, who was there through the whole thing....she and Queenie was having an IM chat when it started, and Queenie told her step by step what was happening, so it felt like she was there with me, holding my paw...

I hope you all enjoy the pics and video on my page, we will be posting more pictures as the kittens grow, and as soon as we know their genders we will name them and give each kit their own page :)

Oh my cat!! *A secret admirer! *BLUSH*

Dear Diary....

Thank goodness you can't see my face...because I am blushing sooo much! I have a secret admirer!! *giggles and blushes some more*

I can't believe it! Me?! Single mother of four?! Oh gosh!

This is what he wrote: "Rosie - The times I've looked at your beauty, The times I've wanted to tell you how I really feel, The times I've wanted you to know that you're more than just a friend to me.... But I'm too scared to let it show... My purrs furever x" Isn't that just too sweet! And it is somepurr I know!!

I wish I knew who it was....it feels good to be luved!

And he is a poet too! *sighs dreamily* AND he thinks I am beautiful! *rubs at her eyes with her paws to make sure she read right*

Thank you secret admirer! You make me feel so special....I wish I knew who you were so I could give you a whisker kiss back *blushes as pink as her toes*

Third time's the charm :)

Revealed!

My secret admirer has been revealed, and what a wonderpurr surprise!! *tries not to squeal like a teenager but giggles instead*

It is none other than the meowvolous, kind and oh so handsome *blush* Gizmo! Yes - the one who little Captain Gizmo, one of my kittens, was named after!!

I never in my wildest dreams ever thought that such a great gentlecat could admire little old me - single meowmy of four!

Oh Gizmo...you don't know how happy you have made me....*sighs and hurries off to go and stare at his page*

Me??

The handsome, amazing, kind gentlecat Gizmo, who was revealed as my secret admirer, asked me to be his girlfurriend and of course I accepted!

So it's official! *giggles and beams happily* I am the luckiest girl on catster! And to think...6 months ago I was a stray lady, pregnant and homeless.....and now I have a furever home, 4 beautiful kits, and a BOYFURRIEND!

Thank you for loving me, Gizzy....you have made me complete :)

BEE afraid!

Of BEES!! *giggles*

It all started this morning.....meowmy and daddy woke up after the alarm went off and I jumped down from the bed for my early morning snack (pre-breakfast crunchies heehee) and meowmy went to shower.....unknown to her, 2 itty bitty bees had snuck their way into the house! I had to purrtect the furrmily! So I attacked....unfortunately, so did they...

Meowmy called in late to work, got ready and took me to the vet (all worried and comforting me of course...meowmy is such a worrier!), where I got a cortisone shot and an allergy pill (blech! pill!) for my troubles...and the vet found both stingers on my poor chin!

Take a peek at my main pic to see my not-so-little chin, the result of those 2 naughty bugs! So take my word for it, if it is yellow and black and goes bzzz....just LEAVE it!

I have been tagged YAY!

I got tagged by the very sweet tabby PeekABoo!

I have to list 5 special things about me and then tag 5 furriends! What pawsome fun! So here are my five things....

1. I have 4 fabulous kittens, and meowmy says that I was the best meowmy to them ever!
2. I am very purrtective about my kits, and even got stung by bees purrtecting them!
3. I am a co-admin for Tabbies With 'Tudes (TWT), the bestest best tabby group on Catster! It was started by my beluved boyfurriend Gizmo :)
4. My back paws are ticklish...meowmy can kiss the front paws, but when she touches the back ones I paw at her head (without claws) and pull the paw away MOL!
5. I was named Rosie because when I first showed up in meowmy & daddy's garden I would sleep under a rose bush with little pink roses the whole time, until meowmy won me over to come inside!

A special day for my kits...their 1st birthday!

Meowmy & I are kinda teary today...because we are being sentimental girls! *giggles*

Today is my four beautiful babies' very first birthday! Yes - a year ago today I gave birth to four itty bitty stripey cuties - and just look at them today! I am so purroud of my little ones...

~ I wanted to meow out a special thank you to this special furrmily for the luv they have given us, and especially sweet Teddy Bearz for making my Amelia Rose so happy! The flower you all gave to me is so sweet and has made my throat all swolen! :) ~

Happy birthday my babies....meowmy luvs you always!
