Back outside now *purrs*

The humans let me back outside tonight. I let him pick me up out of the carrier, carry me close to him through the kitchen and out to the back porch, and he set me gently down on the porch by the food bowl. I ran off, but I'll be back for food, water, and companionship.

A new chapter

Wow! I've had a very long, very tough, very confusing day! I woke up in the trap, then the humans took me and set me in the truck and drove away from home. I was very good during the whole ride, only meowed once when they put me in the truck, and didn't even try to claw anyone.

When we got to the clinic, I was happy and started trying to get out of the trap because I was outside again. It was not to be, though. Another towel was thrown over the trap, and I was placed with other kitties in other traps. I waited a long, long time, but finally someone came and picked me up. She took me into a room and let me out of my trap. Then she poked me! She and other humans gave me shots, made me go pee, and took my blood. They said I now have my rabies shot, distemper shots, and flea medication. Then they poked me again, and I don't remember anything for a while. When I woke up, I felt different. My balls were gone! I licked where they'd cut them out of me, and I was bleeding a bit, but there was nothing there! The top of my right ear is also gone, but that doesn't bother me. Right before my humans came to get me, I went poop in the trap, so the humans at the clinic put clean newspaper in the trap for me. I didn't want to move off the poopy newspaper, but eventually I did when I was in the truck and the poop was removed.

My humans drove me back home, and I knew when we were there. I wanted out! They said I had to stay inside for at least the night, though, and they put me into a carrier which has more room than the trap did. The first thing I did was give myself a much-needed tongue bath! There are other cats here, ones I've met through the screen door before. Carbon's nice, but he likes to stand on top of the carrier. Skylar's ok, and mostly leaves me alone. Tabby likes to stalk me, so I growl anytime she comes by. Rori used to live outside, like me, and we were glad to see each other. There's another cat, Lydia, but she didn't come near. Two of my humans went away for a bit, and the other human took care of me when they were gone. I let her pet me and scratch my chin (I was under the influence of pain medication at the time), and pet my ears. She noticed I was bleeding a bit more, so when the other humans came back home they picked me up and checked me. I growled at them for this, but there was nothing I could really do about it. The bleeding isn't too bad, but they'll keep an eye on it and keep me inside for a couple days extra to make sure I'm ok.

Snap! I'm caught!

I watched the human put a cloth in the bottom of the metal box tonight, and then she put the most delicious-smelling tuna in it and put the towel back on. I went in, backed out, looked around for the usual food bowl, and went back in the metal box. SNAP!!!!! It closed around me! Now I'm trapped in it, and I can't find a single way to get out! I've never been trapped in a metal box before, and I hate it! Why oh why did I go in here?!
