Just a day in my Life

First entry

Hello! My name is Oliver. I enjoy spending the day sleeping, the evening running every which way in the apartment, and sneaking into my parents' bedroom anytime they leave the door open for a nap at the window.

Just last week they had me neutered. I don't run around as much, my parents seem to be happier about that. I've grown to like to snuggle up next to mommy or across daddy's lap. I never realized how good it felt before, I never used to curl up against them! They really seem to enjoy me sleeping with them or on them too!

*Yawn* I think I'm going to go take a nap now!

New Toys are FUN!

Today was a good day. Mommy was home all day, she made herself a sandwich and gave me the rest of the tuna fish mmmm! I haven't had that since Daddy last snuck me a bunch from his sandwich! For the rest of the afternoon, I slept on Mommy's lap while she work on homework and then moved to the other end of the couch to stretch out and dream of playing some neat games with Mommy and Daddy.

Speaking of neat games, Mommy just pulled out a new toy that I don't remember ever seeing before. It's bright pink and purple, on a string and a pole. Mommy was swinging it around and bouncing it and boy oh boy I just couldn't keep myself from wanting to grab that thing and play with it. Mommy's started playing with me more since I started running around and letting her know that my front paws don't hurt nearly as much as they did right after getting declawed. I'm so excited about this new toy and to think it's not even a holiday! Or is it? hehe!
