Cleaning

Yesterday meowmie did soooo much cleaning. She moved everything around and did noisy things and dusty things and wet things with a mop. She did not even read to us from Catster once!
But she is forgiven because she took a nice long break and petted me a whole big bunch. Scaredy cat Meep napped in the bedroom trying to look cool but I know he was hiding. So I got to sit on meowmie and next to her on the couch and have my tummy rubbed and my cheeks and chin scratched and the top of my head massaged. Meowmie said I scrinch up my eyes and look like the My Sin by Lanvin cat -- that was a perfume with a cat in the ad twelve million years ago! MOL MOL! I am gorgeous and could be in advertising.

V-e-t

Yup. V-e-t.
I went there this week.
It was kinda scary. First meowmie snatched up the Meepster and got him in a cage - meowmie calls it a "carrier". Then she got me and put me in a cage. Then we were both on the floor crying and scared. We waited and waited. Finally Auntie Bean and Uncle Deda came and helped meowmie cary us down the stairs and into a car. I cried some more. Then we went somewhere and got carried out of the car and into a big building where there were d-o-g-s!!!! I am not so crazy about d-o-g-s. One one them tried to jump on my carrier and meowmie swooped me up in the air and put herself between the d-o-g and me. Oh brave meowmie!!!
Then we waited some more. Then we went into a room and they did things to Meep and gave him shots and stuff. He was stuffed back into his carrier and then they took me out.
The v-e-t and her assistant like me a lot. They say how soft and pretty I am. But they poked and prodded and weighed me and gave me a shot. The v-e-t took a flashlight and shined it in my eyes. I don't think that is treating a furperson like you like them.
Finally it was all over and we went back in the car and home, thank goodness. I do not want to do that again for a long long long time.

Babie its cold out there!

Our meowmie took out the big blankie she sleeps under. It is very nice and soft and thick. Me and Meep each took a side next to meowmie's legs and snuggled up. Meowmie stayed there for a quite a while and then she rolled over. Meep always gets to stay put and I jump away. But then I come back and sleep on meowmie's feet just to keep her warm and where I like her. Meowmie thinks she is being pinned but really is like a big warm log and I looove to sleep curled up with her. I have been napping in my donut bed which keeps me warm when meowmie is not here.
