Leaping

My latest trick is to leap up on mommy's shoulders directly from the floor.

This weekend I leaped from her printer into the air and onto both her shoulders. I landed with barely the whisper of a paw, claws retracted. Mom is pretty bright sometimes and that day she got the message. She carried me over to the coat closet where I like to check out what's happening on the top shelf, give a good look-see and snifferoo up there.

So I was feeling pretty cheeky about my jumping abilities and last night I leapt up on her shoulders with just a whisper step on her back before landing exactly where I wanted to be. We played the camel game -- mom bends over and I get to tour the homestead. I supposed we do look like a camel, with me the bump on top.

Oh Leapster Meepster you fly through the air with the greatest of ease!

This is my birthday month and we're celebrating all month long by having cat tuna for breakfast and dinner!!! Only mom seems to have forgotten . . . it must be that vacation she took . . .
