We're Back, We're Not Back

Today is the first in two weeks day we figured out how to get into the Community pages: you log in and when you get the message that you're not recognized or your login name/password is wrong, click on the Community Pages link anyhow, at least that's how we got in today. This solution was not offered in e-mail exchanges with the Support Cat. Although we miss all our Catster pals still around, meowmie said she didn't feel the sadness she has when she visits Catster and is reminded of what no longer is. So, Friday's posting about United Cats is perfect timing (today is his gotcha day--stop by and send some love). We've been toying with the idea of moving on but didn't find the right place to go. We will check this out and let you know what we find, for sure.

The Catster Powers that Be deny the plug is being pulled on the Community. But the reality is that the Community pages have been further marginalized. Be it neglect, incompetence or intentional erosion, the result is the same. Can't log in, can't communicate. We don't give a rat's rear end about the brand. We love our Catster furriends and the fun we have (had) here. And this is why Catster succeeded. In this world of counting clicks instead of valuing true communication, Catster stood out. Now its just another click-driven advertising-ridden glib wasteland. We're over the tears, just need a happier place to hang out. Peace, love, furriends forever.

Zoe Noe

Yesterday meowmie found out that the cat suspected of being Zoe is a Noe (prounounced no-ee). Her neighbor saw the now Noe Zoe and took some pictures and another neighbor sent them to the people missing the real Zoe. They confirmed that this cat is not their Zoe. We are furry sad and hope the real Zoe is okay.

Now the mystery is: who is this cat? where does she live? who is feeding her and keeping her? Spring is nearly here and more neighbors will be appearing outside. Meowmie said she will investigate and try to find who this cat really is. Nothing like a good mystery, say I, Meep the Investigative Reporter.

Baby its cold outside!

Brrr! Its cold outside. Usually I like to hang out in the screened- in porch out back but lately my toes get way too cold. One quick patrol around the perimeter and I'm done. So you can imagine my distress last night when meowmie put only the smallest amount of food in my dish and in Bibi's dish too. We each quickly finished off the tiny morsels and meowed like crazy. So meowmie got a new can opened and put a normal portion in each bowl. Bibi meowed so terribly meowmie got startled and dropped one of the bowls into the water dish! Luckily nothing broke and after a quick clean up we were snarfing down our noms. Thanks mom!
