Arrival Story:
Sammy chose us while we were at the Humane Society, *just looking to see what was there* as our late cat Hootie had just suddenly passed on to Rainbow Bridge. I was looking at cute little furballs and my hubby said, "You have to see this one, he just chose me!" That's when we saw this orangie and it was love at first sight. He was a stray from Deltona FL and had landed in Daytona Beach at the Halifax Humane Society. He has beena joy ever since, although he is not a lap cat. He has a very strong will and exercises it often.

Bio:
Samm-I-Am. I am the feline alarmclock for my caregivers. I demand food, water, litter box cleaned and the front door open with my chair in front of it to better see my realm. If they ignore me, I start chattering, jump to the dining room table and then onto the kitchen bar, to the sink. That gets their attention big time. I am a great geco catcher. One got into my porch one day and I was on point until Sammy's Momma could broom him out the door. Phooey. I wanted him!
