Favorite Nap Spot: She hauls herself up in her mommy's chair when she goes off to get a fresh beer. She also hides under the armoire, since that's her cave. She'll also nap next to daddy when he's on the couch. Favorite Food: She especially loves chicken and cheese treats, although she'll eat anything as you can tell from her size. Skills: She sits up like a teddy bear. This is extremely bad for her tail. Dwells:
indoors Arrival Story: She was born to a cat my wife had many years ago. My wife wanted to keep one of the kittens, but her sister took the wrong kittens to the shelter and Edloe was left. When they realized their mistake, the cat they wanted to keep was already adopted. Bio: Edloe didn't get fat until her mommy Natasha died. She went from being a standoffish thin cat to a big, grumpy pushy grouchball.
Edloe recently had a tail wound that needed treatment and the removal of a few nasty maggots. She's still grumpy about having her butt and tail shaved.. She's been napping under the armoire a lot, using her cave as a spot from which to stage yelling attacks on Nardo and Piper.
She lost a fang at the beginning of December.
We started grilling a lot in the Spring of 2005. Edloe demanded an Edloe Tax of all fish, shrimp, and scallops.
After a brief illness and two trips to the vet, Edloe died in my wife's arms in June 2005 as we were heading to the evening emergency clinic.
Her ashes are in a shrine in our kitchen where her food bowl used to be.
