Arrival Story:
Billie was a stray cat in our neighbourhood. I learned from a neighbour that one of the tenants who moved out of our apartment complex left her behind. I started to feed her outside first and gained her trust. She started to follow me everywhere. I wanted to take her home right away, but I didn't know how to introduce her to my dog who is not so fond of cats. I finally decided to take her in two weeks ago. After two weeks, Odie and Billie still cannot get along, but I'm hopeful. We are taking it slow, separating the two most of the time until they both get used to each other. Update: Odie and Billie finally get along. They are so cute together :)

Bio:
Billie is a very friendly and affectionate girl. She's just like a dog; she loves to be with me all the time, follows me from room to room, and loves to be petted. She's very intelligent and vocal. I named her after Billie Holiday because she has such a beautiful voice. She certainly knows how to communicate her needs and feelings through a variety of meows.

"Hear My Meow!" - Billie Irma's Story

Our Daily Walks

I love taking a walk with my mom and Odie (my dog brother). Because Odie's on a leash and I'm not, I can tease him as much as I want. I hide in the bushes and then I appear out of nowhere and run past him - you should see the baffled look on his face :-) I follow them, but I can also mind my own business in the mean time, such as catching bugs and climbing trees. I'm really fast, so there's no problem of catching up with them later on. When mommy and Odie don't take me with them, I sit by the window and meow, using my highest voice. Yeah, OK, I scream to the top of my lung... I mean, how dare they not take me, right?
