Sukki's Life

First Entry

A little about myself...
I am named after a famous Dutch figure skater my grandma lived next door to in Holland. Too bad I hate winter and ice and well, anything cold, even rain or walking on cold grass!
I am a torti calico and my mom calls me a calico mess, though I'm not sure why.. come to think of it, she calls me Pig Pen too!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE chicken, and turkey. I am game to trying ANY human food, and have discovered that I like rice, eggs, spaghetti, mushrooms, spicey buffalo wings and spicey thai jalapeno pepper tuna! My mom thinks I am weird because of the spicey food thing, but hey, SHE eats it!
I love to sleep in boxes or paper bags. They are ALL mine, but I let the others sleep in them occasionally (mom says I have to share).
I like playing tag with Charlotte the squirel, mom says I am not allowed to eat her, that's cool, she's like a cat anyway. I touch her, she runs, she touches me I run...
I should get off mom's laptop now, she's coming... ttyl!

Good Behavior = Rewards

Lately I have been very good... mom even praises me for behaving well. See, when BJ comes in HE gets extra treats and catnip and gets 3 meals a day. I only get 2... so I decided I will be cute and cuddly and well behaved and see what it gets me, so far so good! I got treats and catnip too!!! Mom even let me take some myself from the container (that's my favorite).

Last night mom had chicken... I begged and begged, then remembered that that gets me nowhere. SO I sat next to her and looked pathetic. IT WORKED! She gave me a few little pieces. Then when she wasn't looking I stole a HUGE piece off her plate. She saw and made me drop it... darn, I have to learn to run faster!

I am going to go see if there is any way INTO the refrigerator, if not I'll go outside for a bit and watch the birds.

Lucky Girl

I got to cuddle with mom on her bed. I was all curled up on her pillow while she was watching TV in bed.. Zoe was there too, but it was ok, she was near mom's tummy.

It was soooo calming and peacefull. Maybe we can do that again tomorrow!

And I LOVE stealing grandma's chair, hehe, I do it every night now. I have a new tactic. I pretend I want food and ge real annoying and when she gets up to see what I want I jump into her chair and curl up!

Storm

Uh oh.. I hear thunder. I HATE thunder.. too scary. I must hide in the basement! I crawl there on my tummy. Mom doesn't like me hiding there, but she lets me anyway. She tries to cuddle me to make me feel better, it does, but the loud BOOM is just too much. It happened 3 times yesterday and it's starting again now. I'm ok, I'm watching from the hallway, but at the first sound of it I am so down on the basement stairs!

BJ is even here.. he hates the rain too... poor guy, he hs it rougher than me. He lives outside even though mom tells him he can stay in if he likes. He's still getting used to us.

Phew crisis averted! Sun is out again...

BIRTHDAY!

It's my birthday today! WOOHOO! Extra treats for me!
Mom bought me a new toy mouse and some balls with bells in them! I played with them after I had some catnip so now I am really sleepy again, must go nap... towel rack here I come!

My new Game

EVERY night now, I go out the back, out through the lane and around the block and ask to come in through the front door! Mom gets mad, she says that she is afraid I'll get hit by a car. But I don't go in the street anymore, not since I was little.

Anyway, mom has a new game.. when I am sitting in the front window waiting for the door to open, she OPENS the window! She lifts the csreen up and scoops me in! Darn it! It was fun teasing her by sitting on the window sill watching her coaxing me in to the door! HAHAHA! Grrr, now the game is on!
