Hello world!
I figured that now that I have learned how to turn on the computer and type, I should use my newly found skills to document my memoirs and keep in touch with all my friends and adoring fans.
I am currently residing in a large house with lots of fish. The fish fascinate me. They are kept in the refridgerator (oh, I do like that refridgerator: I feel the great need to examine its contents every time it is opened) and then cooked. The cooking is an elaborate process which I must supervise very closely (humans really do need very close supervision for these sorts of activities). I wasn't as impressed with the actual fish eating (it was served to me in little bits on a piece of tin foil - talk about lack of class!).
I must get back to my guard duty. There is a cat who likes to look in on me through the sliding glass door. It makes me uneasy. I have been away from my post for too long. You never know what could happen to the universe when I am not there to keep it in line.

No fish lately. No peering cats to report. Humans requiring little supervision as of late.
Have been keeping busy plotting ways to get into the basement. Must figure out way to reach door knob as humans have been useless and not obeying my commands to let me in. It is dreadful having short legs...

Yesterday, I had lots of humans come over to worship me.
They petted me and cuddled me. I didn't chase after Jim, my allergic boyfriend as much this time (he is one of my favorite humans though - I think he just likes to play hard-to-get).
And best of all, they brought me some Fancy Feast!!! I inhaled it, it was so yummy. However, I know the humans' secret. I know that they only gave me half a can. Therefore, I was very patient this morning and waited until the short blonde human got up (the man-who-gives-me-milk and the lady-who-cooks-big-fish have been away chasing birds: that sounds like fun, I kept trying to climb into their suitcases because I wanted to go chase birds with them). Anyhow, I led the short blonde human to the refridgerator (love the refridgerator) and screamed for Fancy Feast. She has yet to give me any but I will be persistant.
Short blonde human is doing stuff with a suitcase. I must go investigate these activities.

I have yet to get any more Fancy Feast, but not for lack of trying.
Short blonde human is packing lots of in her car. My food and rattle mice are in a big box. I am observing this closely. It is mildly distressing. Now she seems to be doing strange things to my litter box. Whaaa???

So, here I am, displaced from my house with the big cushy couches and all the fish and the humans who like to chase birds.
The short human snuck up on me yesterday, while I was cozy on the rocking chair, and tried to stuff me into my carrier. As the Houdini-cat, it was my job to not make things easy for her and I slipped out several times. Finally she out-did me (no, I mean, I let her win) and put me in the car and drive for a long time. Then she took me on an elevator and we went up and up and up and then something strange happened and the doors didn't open and we went down and down and down and had to go up and up and up again. Needless to say, my patience was starting to run a little thin.
So, here I am, my new place. The furnature sucks (nothing's cushy enough and the only chair with potential has this weird unstable hammock thing going for it). Hiding places are pretty good (short blonde human doesn't like me hiding in her closet or inside the box spring but I really don't think she has a choice). Lots of windows to peer out of which is good but we're too high up to see my supervision of the universe in action. I have easy access to the food closet (another issue short blonde human and I have different opinions on) and I did get some Fancy Feast last night to help me deal with the trauma, tonight I seem to be expected to eat the dry stuff (hello? traumatized displaced kitty here, needing Fancy Feast).

There is a stash of catnip mice on the top shelf in the storage closet. I found them all by myself.
They're awesome.
Got munchies.
Then must dose.
Ah.

My observations suggest that my short blonde human really isn't that bright. Yesterday, she installed our air conditioner. She sure looked funny trying to tape that vent to the window (especially when she got it all taped up and then discovered it was backwards). She really has to pay more attention to my supervision.
I do like the airconditioner. It makes purring noises and blows cold air at you. Very nice to sit in front of.
I have a new favorite activity: the couch gives me a front row view of the pigeons on my balcony. I like pigeon watching. It's hard work though.
Short blonde human gave me Fancy Feast today. I made her feel guilty for leaving me alone for 12 hours. Guilt is my new best friend.

I did a lot of exploring today.
First was the storage room. I had to see if there were more catnip mice hiding. I have mastered the art of climbing on top of my litter box and pawing through boxes. I am rather proud of myself for that.
Next I had to figure out what the funny little human was doing. She was playing with sticks and string. Naturally, I had to sit on the backrest on the sofa and supervise over her shoulder. If anyone was wonderiring, the sticks are also good to chew on.
Then I got out on the balcony. Wow, I can see lots of birds from there. And everything down below looks really really close. I stuck my head through the barrier to get a good look at the birds and that crazy little blonde human started freaking out and make me go back inside. Yeesh. Could someone give her some cat nip or something?
