I got my own page! I am so excited-getting to do stuff on my own with out big Bro over my shoulder. Mom added some pictures-me with the baby at his first Halloween (he was a pumpkin and I was a black cat-he was too little to sit up back then). There is a picture of me and Tom the first week I arrived home-wasn't I cute. Doesn't Tom look ticked off? And finally, one of me watching the little guy sleep. But I don't let him getm this close anymore-he is too active for me. But I like to watch him sleep still-speaking of which it's late so a I better go and check on him. I'll write again soon!

Ucky Vet

Off to the vet today. Darn. Mom had Tom go first-he got a check but no shots so I figure I am good. NOT. First, I now weigh more than Tom as I am 15.6 pounds and he is 11. My check up was good and Mr Vet said I am one nice looking cat my eyes and teeth were ok and seem to be doing just fine. Then I got not one but two shots. Not fair or funny. They gave me one and then they gave me Tom's-I am certain this is what occured. Then we got home and little person said "hi kitties how you today" and I told him in detail how I doin. He sat and listened to me cause he gets me-mom just said how cute. Not cute I was mad. Little guy got me a toy to make me feel better. Mom got him out of the room so I can rest and relax. I plan to get under the big bed and make a day of it-just rest and venture out for food and potty time, I am not being tricked again!!

Be leery of car rides fellow kitties-they all lead to the vet!

OH MY GOSH BIG NEWS!

I was a Diary Central Diary Pick of the Day on August 5!!!! I can't believe it-I am in shock. I was too excited to type yesterday. I had to show Thomas of course-I asked him "have you had this honor-no you haven't". And of course bad dog girl hasn't either. This makes me super special. I am just going to bask in the light of this honor for a while. Happy Dance:) And just an update-mom is working overtime to get ready for college kids coming back to town. Nana is keeping the little boy-I am helping some. I like to watch him get his bath. I sit on the mat and purr while he splashes and laughs. I plan to bill momma for this child care help-I think $2.50 per day. Thanks again Carster folks for picking my diary. Woo-hoo!! Almost made that vet trip worth it. Almost:)

Movin, movin, movin keep those kitties movin...

We are going to move soon! Mom and dad bought a house and are so excited. Mom said Thomas and I will be set up in the man cave-dad's hang out-and we will have all our stuff in there. Then when they are at work or the pup and little boy are sleeping we get to have the whole house to play in. It's a huge basement so mom said maybe I could slim down a bit (I guess 14 pounds isn't normal kitty size) with the extra play space. Yeah, or I can get on the sofa and snooze. So by Thanksgiving we should be relocated.

My buddy is gone

Tommy passed yesterday. He has not been well for a while and it got worse in the last few days. Mom said she wished he would get better, but it wasn't meant to be. He is no longer in pain. I hope I have such a long life. Mom is giving me extra attention, it's just so odd to have him gone.

Not one of "the boys" now

Since I came home with mom, I was called "the Boys" cause she used that with me and Tom-we were a pair. Now, I am getting used to be Riley the only cat. I am coming to see the people more often and even play with the little human-he is very gentle with me and told mom today "I fink dis kitty Riley is sad cause he miss hims twin, dat old kitty". Mom thought it was an odd thing to say since no one has told tiny person that Tom is indeed gone. And since neither of us ventured out much (mostly I just laid by Tom on "our" couch in the basement-where it was cozy and warm and not dog or baby to bother an old kitty) she was shocked that he noticed Thomas was gone already. She overheard him tell me while we were playing "it ok you twin is ok now". That spooked her a bit. But not me-little children just know those things and so do I. So today mom took some pictures of me and boy-aren't I the snuggler. And the new "head shot" of me is totally glam! I call it "are you barking at me" my new get tough on that dog face. Look out world-a new kitty is in town. *sigh and purrs* I still miss my Tom a lot-it was easier to let him be the heavy and I was the side kick. But all things change and someone has to edumacate this tiny person on all things cat!
