Arrival Story:
I live in the neighborhood around the house of the human who put this page up. One day, a friend cat of mine, a handsome tom, told me that these humans in the green house feed cats on their back porch, and I went over with him to see if it really was true. It was, and I was so happy to have a steady food supply! The she who put the food out named me Shadow, because I am so skittish. At first I was afraid that she would chase me away, and then her he came out and I thought he was going to chase me away because he came after me in his big boots, but he spoke in a soft voice telling me it was alright. He was just going downstairs with towels, so I watched him and then went back to eating. Now (late April 2007), after about two months of hanging around, I'm not so skittish and wait on the steps for my food to be put outside. I even let the she touch me a couple times, and I meow at all the humans.

The people in the green house haven't seen me for over a week. I may be coming when they're not looking, but they usually see me out and about. SpongeBob's been around, but not me.
