Arrival Story: My husband ("Daddy") was working out of town and had an efficiency apartment. He noticed this scrawny, obviously homeless, yet charming little cat strolling down the alley. She had tabby "swirls" and a very sweet face. He said he knew he had to make friends with her. After several weeks of coaxing her with food and a warm box, she allowed him to pet her and eventually come in the apartment to have a look around. She would never stay for long, and soon she led him to her 5 (!) kittens. All were brought inside, went to the vets, spayed and neutered and the kittens were adopted into good homes. But Parker was destined to become Daddy's Girl. Once he brought her to our home (400+ miles away) we slowly introduced her to our 3 other cats and our dog. It was slow going, and to this day she prefers human company to her sisters and brothers. She will show our dog the "paw of death" if he gets too much into what she considers her space. This formerly feral little girl is now a healthy, happy kitty who has her Daddy wrapped around her paw.

Bio: Parker is really called "Paaaaakah" because the neighbor's 3 year old daughter couldn't say Parker correctly. She has one blue eye and one green eye. She has a LOUD meow and is not a delicate cat, you can hear her coming from quite a distance!

My good friend Skeezix tagged me for 7 random facts about myself.
Here I go with randomness!
1. My eyes are two different colors! My hearing is fine in both ears.
2. I can "High Five" for a treat.
3. Mommy says I walk like a baby hippo.
4. I'm very intense. The word "no" means nothing to me!
5. I love to keep our D.O.G. in suspense, he never know when I am going to terrorize him. I love messing with his pea-brain!
6. I was a feral cat. Daddy tamed me and I am glad he did.
7. I sleep next to Daddy's head every night - right side please!

My big orange brother Rudy will be eight years old tomorrow! He has taught me a lot about life. Here is a list of things I now know because of Rudy.
>Sitting on Mommy's face when she is sleeping will get you a lot of attention.
>Never accept the blame for plant leaves on the floor.
>Fake furry mice are 'da bomb!
>The best places to take a nap are exactly where our folks have to walk.
>The same holds true for where they sit.
>Looking cute will get you a long way.
>Never settle for just one treat.
>Do not, I repeat, do not walk in the fireplace when it is being cleaned.
>Keep your paws clean at all times.
>Chittering at the birds outside is fun.
>Laying in the center of the bed really keeps you warm.
>Messing with the D.O.G.'s tail can provide hours of amusement.
>If you lay on the dining room chairs, you maximize your attacking abilities.
>It's better being a lover than a fighter.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUDY, I LOVE YOU MORE THAN TUNA JOOCE!
