Spring has sprung and my heart has been stolen...

My heart has been captured by a super special gentlecat.....he makes me feel alive again, like a young kitten.

His name is Jules Vern and he is a handsome hunter and he treats me like a lady. He writes me poetry and handles me like a precious gem...

Oh, sweet Julesy...you are my soulcat. You have made a senior lady feel special and loved!

I am going to the Prom!

I can't believe it!! In my old age I am going to Prom....with my beluved Julesy! I am over the moon and can't wait!!

I just hope he likes my blue dress....I really think it brings out my orange fur.

Oh, Julesy is such brave and handsome cat and I am so lucky!!

*stares off at the moon and dreams about Jules*

My beloved Julesy - who has VAS - was rushed to the vet because one of his tumours burst open and didn't stop bleeding....

Luckily, the vet could stop the bleeding and operated on Julesy yesterday, Monday the 23rd of April.

We all were so worried about him, and the support we received from all the furriends on catster was overwhelming!! Everyone purred their hearts out, and Martin, Amelia, Ginngie, Diogi and Manna offered the most wonderful support to me during this difficult time.

Hazel Lucy and her list was also wonderful, and each and every kitty there too.

AND we won cutest couple at the Prom too, even though we didn't even attend because Jules was at the vet...thank you Tommy & Baby Girl!

Thankfully, the operation went well and the tumours are not in Julesy's heart and lungs yet...so we are blessed with having him on Earth and in our lives for some more wonderful time!!

Thank you all so very, very much for your love, support, purrrs, get well wishes and general pawsomeness!!!

And a special thanks to Julesy's meowmy for keeping me up to date and for being such a nice lady!!!

Oh my....I am blushing from my tip of my toes to the tip of my tail.....I am Catster's diary pick of the day!!

Thank you sooo much Catster for the honour bestowed upon me, and it is especially great because hopefully now all the kitties can read about my Julesy and see my thanks to them....

If it wasn't for the support of all the wonderful cats on Catster I don't know how I would have gotten through Julesy's bad time...I have done all my personal thanks already so I won't do it again (in the entry hereunder).

And thank you also to the great groups I am in and for making an old gal feel like she still belongs....

Last, but not least (wow, this sounds like an award ceremony speech) thank you for my beloved Julesy for making me so happy and loved and feel so special, you are one great fella and I LOVE YOU!!!

Not goodbye.....

Today has been one of the hardest days of my life...my soulcat and luv, Julesy (Jules Vern) crossed the bridge, and I feel so lost without him....

He was the sweetest guy I have ever met, and so loving and kind....every day with him was like a sweet dream. His big heart and gentle paws touched all who knew him, and we all will miss him dearly....but not for long, because I am so sure that as soon as he gets used to his new wings, he will come and visit us all, but till then he will be watching over us.

I just wish I could express how much everypurr here on Catster has helped Jules, his meowmy Laura, and myself cope with these last two days...all of our furriends and other kitties have helped SOOO very much...and Jules Vern Day yesterday, and him being COTD today, has made it purrfect.

A message from my special angel guy...

I received a poem today, a most special poem from the one I luv who is watching over me, my sweet Julesy, a wonderpurr angel...known also as JV, Jules Vern, a special guy to many catsters...

I wanted to share it with my furriends, I am sure that my sweet would not mind:

Oh my! Happiness is happy furriends!!

I must admit, I am feeling the happiest at the moment as I have since my Julesy crossed the bridge...although the sadness still sits in my heart like an ache that will never go away.

Anyway! This is a thread about happiness! So let me share my reasons for being a smiling kitty again:

Firstly, the news of the day!!! My sweet furriends, Miss Maxy and Gizzy's meowmy received much anticipated results today...and she did WAY better than she was hoping for!! I was chewing my claws off right along with my furriends, and *whispers* did some very kitten-like squealing *giggle* when I got the good news!! Concats, sweet furriends -but then, I am not suprised at all! No sirree!! Teehee!

Next, my other sweet furriend Wally is back after he was scarce for a while, darn 'puter problems! I think I talk for most of catster when I say we missed you sweetie pie!!!! And of course, a certain special lady missed you extra buckets full! You and Sophie are a match made in heaven....both of you are two purrfect, loving kits and I am so happy for you!

And then...a little blessing from heaven entered my life. Her name is Princess Bella Boo and she is my Julesy's little sisfur! I luved her the moment I saw her, and she has been such a soothing salve for a broken heart to not only me, but to her meowmy too. I luv you, sweetpea....you sure are special....

And last, but certainly NOT least, is my honourary little sisfur, Princess Puddin' Pop , who has asked me to help her grow up to be a real lady - and she is such a cutie! She learns so quickly, and makes me so proud - thanks for being part of my life, P3...you and that sweet brofur of yours!!

That's it, furriends...I hope you all have a happy day too, and know that you are loved!

It is true....

Love IS all you need.

This has once again been reaffirmed by my meowvolous Catster furrmily. The kindness, support, purrring and LOVE is overwhelming, and I am so blessed to be a part of it.

First, there is my sweet angel luv Julesy who will own my heart forever, and although the pain of his crossing still lies on my heart like a heavy rock that won't ever be moved, the simple feeling of his presence nearby comforts me so very much. And his sweet little sisfur Princess Bella Boo is helping to light my way out of the sadness too.

Then, another special brother and sisfur pair are my dear furriends Miss Maxy and her brofur Gizmo who are both so sweet and supportive, what wonderpurr furriends to have!

Yet another brofur and sisfur are Tick and Princess Puddin Pop who have shown me that there is always hope and love, and who have helped foster a number of kittens this summer...you guys are pawsome!

Then there is the ever sweet Wally, one big loveable guy who always has room for one more in his heart.

Thank you, all of you, as well as Lancelot, Arn (Arnold P) and Manna....thank you for your LOVE. It's all I need.
