Stupid monster!

So I was outside this other afternoon, just lying next to my favourite potplant, when this great big monster growls at me from nowhere. Wow, it nearly scared the fur offa me!

I ran inside where meowmy was sitting and jumped onto her lap. She was all like "what's wrong Snowy?" and I was all like "meowmy there's a big nasty cat or SOMETHING out there!" and she just stroked me. I was thinking "geez lady, there's a monster out there and it sounds angry and you sit here all calm?"

Then it growled again and ..... I growled back! I hatta do something! Meowmy started laughing and said" hey, Snowy, why are you growling - it's just thunder!" Man, she doesn't know what she is talking about! Its a MONSTER! Its growling and it sounds ANGRY!

So I hid under the couch and kept growling each time in return, just so the monster knew who's the boss.... and guess what? It worked! In a while it went away and now each time it comes I just hide a growl and its goes away after a while!

Stupid monster!!! Scared of an itty bitty black cat!! Hee hee!

Now where did that lizard go? Come here....I won't hurt- you....

So I caught a lizard after weeks of stalking them....previously I was only left with a tail.

Meowmy was still sleeping on Sunday morning when I caught it but I just had to show her!!! I was so proud of myself! I went to the bed and gave a big meow - meowmy immediately came awake because I am not a "meower". I NEVER meow! She saw the lizard and gave me the praise I deserved....and when I wanted to pick it up again and looked down.....IT WAS GONE!!!!

I sniffed and found it....it ran underneath meowmy's dresser!!!!! The dresser has this wooden border at the bottom and I pushed myself in after the lizard - HA! Thought he could escape!! Silly lizard!!!!

But wait.....OMC!!! I'm TRAPPED!!! I squished in up to about halfway my shoulders and then I couldn't go in or out!!!!! MEOWMEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Oh, the embarrasment!!!! Meowmy tried getting me loose but couldn't so daddy had to lift the dresser up in the front! After a struggle (the dresser is very heavy) he got it up and I was free! And the lizard was free as well....but not for long!!! Victory was mine!!

Phew!! I'll never squish myself in there again!

Stinky? Who moi?

Ok...so here I was strolling along when I picked up this great smell...ahhhh...

Upon further investigation I saw that the people next door to us in the complex we live in have sprinkled manure between their plants. I just HAD to go and roll in it of course! Oh, the lovely aroma....eau de nature!

I went back home and went up to meowmy, stood next to her and waited for her to pick me up. I am so kind that I just wanted to share the good fortune of the great smell with her.

So....she looks down, picks me up....goes "poooooeeeee" and puts me down again. What the? Okay, next target...daddy!! So I go over to him and he takes one whiff and hands me back to meowmy.

Next thing I know I am in the bath being lathered and meowmy is mutterig something about me being stinky and not sleeping with her smelling like that.

So...now my nice new interesting smell is gone and I am still a bit wet as I type this....(see photo on my page)

I'm ENGAGED!!!!

I have been swept off of my feet, and am floating in the clouds.......because my dearest MARTIN proposed to me last night!!!

It was wonderful and magical..... he led me through a garden filled with beautiful flowers, underneath the moon, with candles everywhere and a stream bubbling nearby....then he took me up into a gazebo surrounded and filled with roses, where he went down on one knee....

And of course I said YES!!!!

I am the luckiest, happiest, most fortunate and blessed kitty in the world!!!!!

1. I am smitten with the handsome and meowvolous Martin, my fiancé!!
2. I like baths! MOL…you read right! Ahhh…that shampoo massage is the best!
3. My favourite thing is to be carried around like a baby by meowmy, and to sleep under the covers between her and daddy.
4. I am scared of watermelons. I am fine with vacuums, dogs, etc...but put a watermelon down somewhere and I will hiss at it and walk circles around it MOL!
5. I have caught - to meowmy's horror - a gecko, grasshoppers and once a birdie.
6. My favourite Fancy Feast flavour is savoury salmon. Yum!!

Oh this is most wonderpurr and exciting!!!! Myself, Queenie and Toby have volunteered to be mentors at the 'adopt a dogster/catster' group!!

This means that we will be assigned kitties who need guidance or who are new or who would simply like a mentor/big brofur/sisfur!!! Then we can help them find their feet, help purrty up their pages, make furriends or simply just BE there for them and show them that they are special!!

I have been matched as a 'Big Sister'!!

Yay!!! I have been matched with such a wonderpurr family!!! I am pleased to announce that I am now a 'Big Sister' mentor to:

I am so excited and can't wait to get to know them better!! They look like two pawsome kitties!

TWO packages?! Both for me?!?

Oh my!! What an exciting day this has been!! Meowmy and daddy left this morning, saying that they are going to the post office. When they returned, they had a big package and a smaller one, BOTH for me!!!

I was so excited, I couldn’t wait for meowmy to open them!! The first, big one was my hand-made cat tent, made byTeal'c's, meowmy! She also sent meowmy themost beautiful cat cards that she makes! All of the money she makes goes towards her kitties – and they are a big furrmily, and most of tehm are rescues!! Teal’c brofur Moo, had to have surgery, so the money of our tent was going towards that!

The next package was from my wonderpurr husband and love, Martin !!! I was such a happy kitty when I saw it!!! Inside was three cans of Fancy Feast – two of them medleys, which is not available here in South Africa yet! He also sent me the sweetest card with three meowvolous photos of him, so now I can stare at his pictures even when I am not online!! But the best part was my GORGEOUS necklace
!!!! It is sooo beautiful – the chain is made from little hearts that are interlinked, and it has a lovely silver filigree heart with a purrty red heart hanging from it! Further, it has tiny crystal flowers too!! I LOVE IT!!!! And it is just my size…Martin’s kind meowmy made it for me, to Martin’s specifications!!

So what a happy day!! Of course I had to have a photoshoot right away to show of my great purresents!! Thank you Teal’c and my love Martin!!!

I have my own snowflake!!!

Yep! My dear, sweet furriend Hudson created a snowflake just for me! He knows that even though my name is Snowy, I have never seen actual snow and probably never will :)
