I went to the Human Society of Greater Dayton (Ohio) and Zuni picked me!

Bio:
Zuni is a sweet, little kitten. She loves sleeping in the windowsill and hanging out on the back of the couch. She's very talkative and often interrupts human conversations. Even though she's just 5 lbs, she's the alpha kitty in the household. Zuni was diagnosed with metastinal (chest) lympoma on 11/6/2009.

Thanks for the lovely rosettes, notes, and purrs.

I am doing fine. I went to the vet yesterday. She said that my mass has shrunk considerably. My lung capacity is 30% better than it was 2 weeks ago. My white blood cell count is lower, but still within the normal range. The vet went ahead and gave me a second chemo injection. I am still on Prednisone. The vet started me on an antibiotic because of my weakened immune system.

I had a good dinner tonight. The vet says I should start on kitten food, because it is richer. That is fine with me!

I am so grateful that I was featured as the Diary of the Day!

It has been four days since I had my IV chemo injection. I am feeling good. I hopped up onto the windowsill today, and had a nice, big bowl of canned food. I go back to the vet Friday to have my red blood cell counted. If all looks well, I may have another injection on Friday.

I'm feeling good after a long day at the vet. I had my first chemo IV injection. I was so happy to see Dad when he came to get me! I gave him a big "meow" and some head butts. After he brought me home, I got a big bowl of canned food. Right now, I'm feeling good. My pawrents will be watching me closely for any side effects from the chemo. I'll go back to the vet in a week to get a blood cell count to see how I'm responding.
