Thanks Meowmy!

Meowmy took more photos fur me to put on my & my lil sis's catster pages! So make sure you click on See My CatsterPlus Photobook! And she finally allowed us to dress up our pages! We put fun things on, like a guest book (please sign! & don't forget to upload your pic!) and scratch-offs with secret messages, and Meatball has a kissing booth! She got her first kiss from Caviar! You should've seen her blush! She keeps trying to get me to get a kissing booth, but I'm too shy. I like my guest book, though. I'm looking furward to 2008, and hoping it is mewzillions times better fur Meowmy!

And Happy 2008 to all my furrriends & may you have an unending supply of treats! I'll be happy to help out and give you some if you run low!

I've met the sweetest little lady

Oh, diary, I have met the sweetest little purr lady - Aislin!

She's so sweet, and soft, and purrty, and fun, and petite, and loving. I didn't know grrrl kits could be so wonpurrful (no offense, Meatball). We went tail-flying and Bungee Bear jumping. It was incredible! I bought her a collar last week, and it looks so beautiful on her black fur. She even put it on her paw page! I really like her SO MUCH. *blushes crimson* There's going to be a January pawty - I hope she'll go with me. *happy sigh* I'm still trying to figure out how to ask her. I can't wait to see what the pawty's theme will be.

My Meowmy likes Aislin, too. She's happy fur me that I met such a sweet purr. Meowmy said she gets to live vicariously through me (whatever that means), only she'd be in Aislin's place and hasn't found her Sausage in Shining Armor yet. But she's happy fur me that I'm on the road to furever love *rolls over belly up, stretches, and kisses Meowmy's foot*

My gorgeous grrrrl, Aislin, was one of the Diary Picks of the Day! That's my little lady! She said it was because of me, *blushes* but that's not true. She would have won it no matter what she wrote about. She writes beautifully. Would expect nothing less from those purrty little paws. Can't wait to see her at breakfast tomorrow.

1. I love to wait outside the shower fur Meowmy. When she gets out, I dry her legs off with my fur.

2. I rarely meow. I "talk" by trilling instead. If I do actually meow, it means it's REALLY important! And I come when called.

3. I escort Meowmy wherevfur she goes (as long as it is in the house) no matter what time of day/night. If I'm sleeping, I am up & by her side the minute she moves!

4. I don't get fur balls. I get fur LOGS! And I don't make a sound when it's time to deliver one!

5. I sometimes eat my own fur & the shreds of sisal from my scratching post.

6. I sit up on my hind legs like a raccoon.

7. I use my paws fur evfurrything - playing catch, batting practice, eating, drinking, bug hunting, getting Meowmy's attention (either tapping her gently with them or all out pulling her hand down to me).

7 facts about me

1. I love Meowmy's shoes. LOVE them. I lounge among them & spread out on them.

2. I've only growled three times, since Meowmy has had me & ALWAYS at the same creepy hooman when I see him outside through the window.

3. I walk Meowmy. Inside (I'm an indoors only puss). When we are playing with the "wand", I start trotting away with it in my mouth & make her follow along or drop it.

4. I'm highly coordinated & VERY conscious of Meowmy. I NEVFUR step on her; always step or jump ovfur her, and will even test with my paw to see if it is her under the covfurs or just bunched up covfurs.

5. I don't fit in the jumbo-sized covered litter box & it's the largest one Meowmy can find. I keep my front paws outside on the mat, while I'm "doing my business", and have even backed in so I don't have to squeeze in & try to turn around inside.

6. I make Meowmy, yes MAKE her, come to the food dish to keep me company while I eat when she's home.

7. I groom myself SO WELL, that I nevfur get matted & Meowmy rarely has to groom me, which is good because I hate being brushed.

Disappointment

Today my sisfur Meatball and my buddy George received an extremely hostile pmail with very disparaging remarks. This pmail was completely undeserved, uncalled for, unjustified, unwarranted, and out of the blue. I, my sisfur Meatball, my Meowmy, George & George's furmily & Meowmy have NEVER been disrespectful, rude or negative in any way to any Catster member, and would never dream of being that way to anyone & to receive this pmail really shocks all of us.

This site very clearly is to be for fun & friendly use, and any Catster member who cannot abide by that should keep solely to themselves or get off it. When my Meowmy reminded this user that "Catster Messaging is a new feature meant for fun and friendly use. If you experience any problems, have any suggestions, or witness any inappropriate usage, drop us a line and let us know", the pmails conveniently stopped, so the excuse that it "wasn't really them" seems very fishy (along with some other obvious facts about the pmails from them). My Meowmy has not taken this issue to the next level YET, but be assured...she will get to the bottom of it. AND prevail.

However, unfortunately the user that decided to verbally attack my sisfur has left a "bad taste" in Meowmy's mouth right now, so fur those purrs that ARE our true furrriends, and fur the many GOOD purrs we have met in our groups, we meowpologize if we seem a little quiet fur awhile. We know it isn't you (we do know who it is obviously), but it unfortunately impacts our group activities as well.

***Good news! An update already! My Meowmy spoke to the Meowmy of another purr furrriend who received some extremely disparaging remarks as well from the very same purr's owner! When my Meowmy was on the phone with the other Meowmy, and they were filling each other in about the rude pmails & who they were from, 2 and 2 started coming together, and it became all too clear that these pmails are deliberate, and not being sent "by accident" or "without their knowledge". I don't feel it is appropriate to name the purrs/users in question here, but it will be taken up with Catster HQ. Meowmy was hoping this wouldn't have to be the case, but obviously some hoomans are not capable of letting purrs have innocent fun on-line, and in the end this hooman's purrs are the ones that may have to pay the price because of their own owner's inability to interract properly, respectfully & within the guidelines of Catster; in other words, because of their own owner's inability to play nice***

1. My original name, before I went to live with Meowmy, was "Kitty". Just because I have no nu-nus does NOT mean "Kitty" is an acceptable name fur a big manly cat like me!

2. When Meowmy turns the lights off to go to bed, it means PLAYTIME to me, no matter how late it is; no matter how much I played earlier; and no matter how sleepy Meowmy is.

2. I am microchipped, but Meowmy will still hurt any pink monkey that allows me to escape to the outdoors because I am totally ignorant of the outdoors and would be lost furever.

3. I have taken over the first level of the glass coffee table. It is where I lounge when Meowmy is watching TV. I also use it as a play platform.

4. I had a cancerous growth removed from my ear. Meowmy was a wreck! Although it was cancerous, the V.E.T. said it has a very low re-occurrence rate in puttie tats. Meowmy still worries, though...

5. I don't like wet cat food at all! But I LOVE baby food!

6. My Gotcha Day is coming up on Feb. 15th! That's my sisfur's Gotcha Day, too.

7. I know when Meowmy is sad and I comfort her.

1. Whenever I'm done drinking, I scratch around the water dish fur some reason.

2. I like to lick the water drips from the side of the bathtub affur Meowmy gets out of the shower.

4. I always lay with Meowmy until she falls asleep. Then I move to MY chair right next to the bed, even though she'd love it if I stayed!

6. Evfurry time I'm doing something silly, or smart, or cute & Meowmy busts out the video camera, I show her my backside, giver her the tail, and walk away. No way are my secret charms getting recorded fur all to see and steal!

GOTCHA DAY!

It's our Gotcha Day today! Mine & Meatball's! We don't know our burp-days, so we celebrate our Gotcha Day instead. We've owned Meowmy fur 2 years today!!! We are so furry happy we took her in! So FURRY happy!

Never a day passes that Meowmy doesn't show her appreciation fur all we've done, but she did extra today! Good Meowmy! Good pink monkey! We got homemade chicken & egg meatballs. Little itty bitty kitty-bite-sized ones. They were furlicious. And toys! Boy, do we have toys! And finally, we each have our OWN boogie mat! Woo hoo!

We're definitely keeping her around. Wouldn't trade her fur the world! She's the best pink monkey a kitty could ask fur!

P.S. Wanted to wait until Meowmy left the room to type this. I went to the BCCP Valentine's Day Catnival yesfurday. Spent the whole day & night with my beautiful grrrl purr Aislin. THAT was the best purresent of all. *happy love sigh*
