What's A Kitten To Do?

Well here I am. I nice normal active kitten that just loves to play,but these other cats here get all mad at me if I pounce on them. They let out one little whine and the next thing I hear is "Jack play nice" or "Jack stop being a butthead." *sigh* Fine. So I decided to play with the dog. I pounced on her tail and she didn't say anything. So then I'm playing with her tail and all is well until I "accidentally" touched her paw. She growled at me!! Can you imagine?! Can you guess what happened next? Yup you got it...I hear "Jack stop tormenting the dog." Sheesh! I give up...for now. I'm just gonna take a nap. When I wake up I'm gonna take EVERY toy out of the toy box and I'm gonna leave 'em laying ALL OVER THE PLACE!! So there!

OUCH!!!

Ya know...about a month ago I was mindin' my own business goofin' off under the recliner.
Being the inquisitive guy that I am,I was stickin' my hand into all of the chair parts just to get the feel of things...and somehow I got my arm stuck! Scared the daylights outta me! So I pulled and pulled and twisted and turned and pretty much freaked out!!! In the process of freakin' out and tryin' to free my lil arm,I managed to hurt myself pretty good. My Mom heard my screams and came running and gently got me free from that mean ol chair thingy.

Then the weirdest thing happened...my arm started to swell!! My Mom said,"Awww Jackkkkkkkk. Lil buddy,I think that you may have a fracture."

Next thing I know,my Mom is on the phone with Dr. Jim and then I get put in that carrier thing and went for a ride. We get to the place and right away I recognized it as the place that I was adopted from...lotsa nice people there. Dr. Jim and my Mom laid me on this table and did somethin' called x-rays. After a few minutes they were lookin'at this strange black picture and they both pointed at it and Dr. Jim said,"Yeah you were right...he has a greenstick fracture alright." A greenstick? What IS a stick anyway any why is it green? I dunno....I'm just a kitten.

So then they put this weird thing on my arm from just past my toes all the way up to my shoulder! It did feel kinda funny,but hey....I'm JACK...NOTHIN slows me down!!! I did whatever I wanted,I didn't care...that weird thingy didn't get in my way at all. I jumped on stuff,I climbed the condos,I climbed my Mom....and I did it ALL with lightening speed.

A couple of weeks ago I went back to the clinic place and got to see Dr. Jim's wife Dr. Cati. I gave her lots of kisses and she took the weird thing off of my arm. Holy moly my toes were smelly!! I washed 'em tho and went on about my normal business.

I kinda miss the weird thing on my arm. Did you know that if you use it to headslap the other cats they say "owieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" and they will go whinin' to Mom? heh heh heh....WIMPS!!!!!!

I'm Jack...and I totally RULE!!! : )

New Toys!

Well. I am having a bit of a dilemma. We got a few new toys here and I just love them...but apparently it's naughty to put them into the water "trough" as Mom calls it.

She said,"Jack they're brand new...you DON'T have to wash them." Well pfffffftttttt...hey I may not be quite 6 months old yet,but I'm no dummy. I don't know where those things came from or who might have had their paws on 'em befor they got here now do I? I'm being cautious is all. I mean sheesh...I wash myself and the dog and a few of the other cats on a very regular basis and I never hear any complaints about that so what's the big deal with washin' toys??
*insert my cutle lil face and a big purr here* Ok...so to make up for it, I took the toys outta the water...and I left them on the bed to dry. Do ya suppoose that's ok?

Oh!! Can one of you guys explain 'puter things? I was just told,"Jack don't play with the mouse." I don't get it...umm...HELLO!!??? I'm a CAT and IT's a MOUSE. I thought that there was some sort of law that says that I SHOULD catch and play with a "mouse?" Ben & Pete told me I could play with it...hmmm...they seem to be laughing right now. I better go talk to them about it...

*puuuuurrrrrr* I'm JACK.... See ya'll later....

I just heard a new word. Neuter. What IS that? I have no idea,but I heard the words" call clinic Monday,Jack,neuter"....I hope it's something fun!

Ben's laughing at me and won't say why...he keeps sharing laughs with Pete and he's making me mad. I'm gonna slap the red right off of him one of these days...Maybe I'll ask Toby what neuter is.

Umm...I found out what neuter is...I hadn't even realized that I had those "parts" yet,let alone that they could ever become a problem!!! I guess it's ok...I have it on good authority that I will be just fine and that I'll be a better man in the end. "In the end"...is that a pun?

I think I need a nap...

Wheeee Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!! I'm not sure what today is really,cuz this is my first one...but I understand that there will be turkey involved so I'm up for it!!Let's all show some restraint in what we eat today tho! And everyone be thankful for the great families and homes that we have.

Oh Boy!

Oh boy it's been too long since I last made an entry in my diary!!

I have been so very busy! I am now 6 months old and I havs alot of resposibilities. It's become a full time job for me to fit in all of the naughtiness that must be done by a kitten!

It's a big job to keep up with my harrassment of the dog and all of the older cats plus there are so many toys to play with and some that I just HAVE TO ruin! *sigh* A kitten's job is never done!!!

Why??

Why is it wrong to play in the dog food? I love it! So....I got in trouble a bunch of times for taking pieces of dog food and hiding them under the rug by the door.(it's alot of fun to play with them under there) Fine. I have stopped leaving them under the rug and I've been hiding them elsewhere because I want to save them for later. Evidently,it's also unacceptable to leave them in people's shoes. WHY? Think about it...it's the perfect place. The dog isn't allowed to have shoes and the other cats simply don't care. Genius right??!! Instead,I hear "Jaaaaaaaaaaccccckkkkkkkkkkk would you stop putting dog food in my shoes?!"

Ugggggg....c'monnnnn people! Ya gotta give me something to work with here. You're totally rainin on my parade.

I played with one of my new toy mice in the water,but then I remembered that I'm not supposed to do that either so I took it out of there.(See...I'm no dummy)I didn't wanna get into trouble for that...so I hid it in one of the Nikes. I wonder if it'll be safe there............

Well well well....

OMG I'm getting old! I just had a birthday of sorts on Dec. 31st. I'm 7 darn months old now!! Time sure flys when you're being naughty! hahaha I crack me up.

Will I ever grow up enough to behave? Nawwwww.....I don't wanna grow up like that. I'm having a blast. My life is so great and the fun just never stops! Ahhhh....being me totally rules!!!

Sadness

Today has been a very sad day here. My Mom's Grandma passed away today. She was 102 yrs. old. There have been many tears here amongst all of the humans. I do my best to kiss away the tears,but everyone is still so sad. It just breaks my purring lil heart.
