Arrival Story: After getting horribly lonely at my first apartment I decided I definetly wanted to pay the pet deposit and have a cat when I moved into my new one. I went to the animal shelter one day looking for a young kitten, preferably female, fur color didn't matter to me(but I do love silver cats). I went to the kitten room and was shown a cage of a litter of 8-week old kittens and this little girl came right up to the cage. I held her for a bit and decided instantly that she was perfect and I wanted her. I went to the bank and got the cash, filled out the paperwork and brought her home with me.

The Last Forum I Posted In: Anyone thinking about Halloween yet?

Anyway, not long after my first birthday we took a long drive to a new place mama called our new house. But then about 4 months ago we came back to my grandmas place, and then took a short drive and arrived at the same house! Outside it's different, but inside it's all the same(well except for some furniture re-arrangement, and mama says the walls are going to be painted now that we're all settled).
Now our grandma comes over a lot more often, so I guess we're back in this town again, and we're not going anywhere anytime soon.
A big huge porch was just built outside, so I get to go out there and play a lot. Except I didn't like going out today because it was raining.
Also mama was so super impressed with The Catnip Cottage in Tulsa and mama and grandma are disgusted with the lack-of-good-cat boarding in this town, so they recently went to visit the Catnip Cottage and they gave mama and grandma the okay and lotsa tips on starting a good luxury cat boarding business in our town, so they're hoping to start that within the coming year.
I turned 1 year old on July 27th! Mama says she wishes we could've had a bigger celebration, but we're moving 3 hours northeast to a place called Claremore Oklahoma very very soon, so a lot of stuff is all packed away.
But I still had a party! Mama designed me a cake out of a can of 9 Lives Ocean-Fish flavored cat food and Ocean-Fish flavored Feline Greenies(my two favorite foods!) and it even had a pink candle on it! After mama, Grandma, and papa-Zachy sang the Happy Birthday song to me and I ate my cake I got to open presents! And I got a lot of presents:
A "Kitty Cube" toy(from grandma)
A Super Mario sound-effects toy(from papa-Zachy. He used to wear it all the time and I absolutely love the noises it makes, so he gave it to me)
A pink and white birthday dress(from mama)
Stuff mice toys(from mama)
A "Scrunch'n'Punch" thing which is basically a wire tree-thing that dangles cat toys(also from mama)
I had a great first birthday and I look forward to many many more in the future!
I had my very first Christmas! It was fun! I got treats and SOOOOO many presents!
On Christmas Eve mama's sissy and her family came over. They brought my cousin Molly(she's some type of small puppy, she's white and her fur is long and I'm the same size as her). I'm still not sure what to think of that dog.
Anyway mama had me sit in her lap and I got some presents! My grandma gave me a little pink catnip purse toy and mama's sissy gave me a bouncy dangely toy. Mama hung the dangely toy on the patio door, so I can play with it and look outside at the same time!
Mama also gave me a little schoolgirl outfit, everyone thought I would hate wearing clothes, but I didn't mind it at all! After I got used to it, I barely noticed it was on!
The next morning I woke mama up at 7am and we went out into the living room and waited for grandma to wake up. At 9am she was still asleep so we went into grandma's bedroom and I jumped on her because I wanted to open my presents!
I got my stocking that mama made first. There were 2 cans of Iams Ocean First Entree cat food, some 9 Lives Morris balls and a catnip mouse toy in it. Then I opened my presents that were under the tree and I got a lot of stuff!

I love the TurboScratcher! There's a ball that runs on a track around it that is so fun to chase and I can scratch the center of it!
I really enjoyed my first Christmas, and I hope every other cat had great Holiday season as well!
