DAy's 1-8

I've been in my new home 8 day's now and I feel that I should go back and re live this chapter in my life.
DAY 1...
I was happily playing and romping with my brother when there was a knock on the door. My human person answered and more persons came into my home one of them carrying a small person. The long- haired person picked me up and stroked my fur, it felt nice and I closed my eyes and purred. The next thing I knew we were walking OUTSIDE!! I never go outside. The human person put me in a kennel in a car and off we drove. I was so scared, I didn't know what was going on. I hid in the corner of the kennel behind a blanket until the car stopped. The long-haired person picked me up and more petting and purring followed and lots of soothing softly spoken words from the long-haired person. I felt much safer but was a little worried still. More walking OUTSIDE!! We were inside of a different home with new smells and a lot of loud noises coming from the little person. I was still nervous but eager to explore my new world. The long-haired person held me and stroked my fur and I drifted off to sleep in her arms
Day 2...
I'm learning so much about this new place and my new people. We play together all day and the little person chases me a lot but he's learning to be gentle. I got my nails clipped and fell asleep purring. Who wouldn't with a human person petting you. I'm not afraid anymore and like my new home, I sometimes wonder about my brother though, how he is and what he is doing now.
Day 3
I went OUTSIDE today. My long-haired person put something over my head and clipped something across my chest. Then she hooked this long string thing to it and we were OUTSIDE!! Everything was SO BIG.. She put me in the kennel again and away we drove in the car. We went to this place where there were big furry loud things and brother like things. We sat on a hard chair and my person stroked me and spoke softly to me and everything was alright. Then a Tall person picked me up and pushed on my tummy and shined a bright light at me and pulled open my mouth. They took me away with them and poked me in the leg with a needle. It hurt and I was sad until the tall person carried me back to the long-haired person. The tall person put some yucky stuff in my mouth and poked me in the back with a sharp thing and my long- haired person took me away from THAT PLACE. WE went back to the new home and I purred and snuggled with the long-haired person.
Day4...
MY human person took me into the OUTSIDE today.She put the thing over my head again and buckled it across my chest. Then she hooked the long string thing to it and we sat down in the stuff that pokes out of the ground. I was so scared. I hid in her lap for the longest time and finally when I did explore, every sound that I heard sent me scurrying back into her arms. After more soft words and lots of petting, I decided to look around me and found so much to do. I didn't know that there are buzzy things to pounce on or tall wavy things that blow back and forth in the breeze. Did I mention the buzzy things? I think that I could chase them all day. My person put me on this round hard thing that went up as far as the clouds and I CLIMBED it, do you believe that! I went up as far as my string thing would let me and then wiggled my way back down. I was so tired when we went back inside that I slept for hours.
Day 5...
I'm learning to love my new people, even the small loud one that chases me. I think I'm going to be happy here.
Day6...
I woke up with the sun today and felt awful... I don't know what is wrong but I think that I may be sick. My people woke up when I began making gagging noises and stroked me until I was quiet. My long-haired person seems like she's worried. Hopefully I'm better soon. When the little people(there are three of them) were eating their morning food I snuck a little milk out of a bowl it was really yummy. The next thing that I knew my stomach hurt so bad. I meowed asking for help but when the person picked me up it made the pain worse. I meowed and wiggled to be put down, ran to my litter box and all of this yucky stuff came out of my mouth. Oh gross...
I felt a lot better after that though and acted mostly alright all day. In the dark time my long-haired human said that I hadn't eaten very much this day. I decided soon after that to have my dark time meal after which I threw up again..
Day7...
I've been in my new home a full week now. My life was pretty good until yesterday and now I'm throwing up again!! Four times since the sun broke the sky. My human person is on the loud ringing thing looking worried. Soon after I am placed in the kennel again and away we go in the car. Oh no, Not THAT PLACE again. I sat quietly while waiting for the tall person to come in . When they did they pushed on my stomach really hard and put this cold thing in my... I'm not going to talk about that part, how humiliating.
The tall person talked to my person about something and then she LEFT ME THERE!!! They held me down on a table and there were clicking noises, not fun let me tell you. Awhile later my human person was back and she brought me home. She gave me yucky medicine Two times and I was so tired I slept the rest of the day.
Day8...
I'm hungry and no people will feed me help some one PLEASE!!
My human person gave me food but it's wet and mushy. I don't want it,I will not eat it ,Iwill bury it. I will dig at the hard cold floor until the mushy food is taken away. Oh thank you person crunchy food. I'll have just a little bit for now. I will sleep more now. Maybe when I wake up I will feel better. I had a long nap with my human person, drank some chicken broth,had a little more food and now it is time to play. I'm keeping my paws crossed but maybe I'm starting to feel better now.

Day9

It is early day and I am feeling so much better. I have eaten some food,used my litterbox and even played with my toys. My little puffballs toys are shiny and glitter when I throw them through the air. So much fun!!I have been following my long haired person everywhere wanting pets and cuddles. She looks much happier too. Maybe if I'm feeling okay later today she will take me OUTSIDE..The squirrels are in the yard again, I really do need to chase them. It's not quite the same thing through the window but I try anyways .

Day 12

I can't believe that's it's been almost two weeks since I came to my new home. I am feeling SO much better. I"m back to eating Three meals a day finally and so mom is way less worried about me. I'm watching the Squirrels out the window while the gather walnuts in the back yard. I REALLY love those squirrels, they are SO much fun to chase. I've been practicing my TREE CLIMBING. Oh wow, Why did nobody tell me about trees? Yesterday I was climbing a tree and a bird landed in it and I tried to catch it and almost fell out and mom says she needs a longer leash cuz' she's tired of chasing me.

I 'm getting Bigger Oct,19th

Today is my 4 month birthday! I've been practicing my BIG jumps from sofa to sofa to chair to computer to windowsill! Mom thinks that I am bored and would like a kitty friend to play with. Some one to wrestle with and cuddle with and maybe chase squirrels with in the window! I don't know if I'm ready to share my Squirrel's yet though. I'm starting to lose my kitten fuzz and an turning a beautiful sparkly silver. Mommy says I am even more beautiful! Mom say's it's almost time to get my next kitten shots at THAT PLACE! I really don't want to but as long a mommy dosn't leave me there I guess it will be okay. The little human person that chases me is much nicer now. He has learned to touch gently and that I don't like to be picked up by my neck (It's not very fun!) I also got a new brush that I LOVE! It's called a Zoom Groom and it doesn't poke or scratch me at all! It also helps get rid of all of the Itchy Scratchy loose hair that I've been losing. My favorite new toy is a long string rope that I carry with me wherever I go. Mommy says that I look like a little lion strutting around with my first kill! Such a silly mommy! Daddy says that I keep stealing his spot on the bed but I am only trying to keep it warm for him and I think that he knows it. When dad gets home from work as soon as he sits down I love love love to lay on his chest and do my happy feet ! I miss him so much when he leaves! I am going to chase the Squirrels now they are in the trees again!

I'M THE BESTEST JUMPER EVER!!

I can jump BIG now, I can climb up HIGH where I can see EVERYTHING!! Mom says that I'm getting a NEW TOY on tuesday, she says that it is a CLIMBING one!! I am SO HAPPY! Then I can CLIMB, CLIMB, CLIMB!! Mommy started giving me Wet Food mixed with my crunchy. I like some of it but some is yucky so I still try to bury it "GO AWAY YUCKY FOOD!" Mom says she won't give me that kind anymore. OH! I got a new mousie toy! It's on a bouncy string. Every time I pull on it it JUMPS AWAY from me ! It is the coolest! I play with it all night long. Mommy also showed me my new STOCKING! I didn't know what it was and tried to climb into it but mommy says it is for SANTA to put PRESENTS in! I love new toys! Grandma says I'm a little spoiled but mommy says I'm just well loved! Gotta go now, see ya later!

What!!

I know, I know, only kitty life is over. Mom says I'm gonna have to learn to share my toys cuz' I'm getting a baby sis or bro! What! Share! how dare you even mention that word. Then she tells me she got the date wrong on my new climbing toy and it won't be here until at least wednesday, maybe even thursday! What else could go wrong! Oh no, I have to go to the VET tomarrow for shots!! Wow, I think I'll sleep this one off...

THAT DIDN'T HURT

I went to the doctor this morning for my second set of shots and it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Just two pokes and all done time to go home. Oh by the way I weigh Eight Pounds now! Doc says I'm growing like a weed. Mom says next will be my operation to get fixed? WHAT'S THAT!!!

Neutered, what's that?

Mom says that next Wednesday I have to go to the Vet. She said that I have to stay the night! Oh no, I really don't like the way that sounds. I don't want to have to be in one of those metal cages again... YUCK!! Mom said that I'm having an operation, something called a neuter surgery! I don't think that I want to know what THAT is. I'll just pretend that it isn't happening and *yawn* go back to sleep...

I'm having a bad day

Mom brought home something in MY kennel and it moves and makes noise. I don't think that I like it very much. I keep hissing at it telling mom to take it away but she only puts it in another room, I can still smell and hear it in there. Why doesn't it leave?? Mom says it's my new brother, I want to tell her I don't want a brother but she doesn't seem to listen very well. Maybe if I ignore the something it will leave?? I'll try that....

It Snowed!!

We got this years first snow last night. Actually it's My First snow. Mom took me outside to play and I thought that it was interesting but I don't know what those humans were so excited about, it's just more wet stuff. When we came inside I climbed in Tucker's kitten cage for a nap and he followed me. It was great until he woke up, have you ever awoke to a kitten chewing on your nose? Not a good experience. I tried to go back to sleep when he climbed out but what do you think happened, yes, he's back! I guess that I'll have to get up and chew on him for awhile, maybe chase him around the house a few times, eat some treats and then I can nap in peace....
