Arrival Story:
Wolfie was born in my Mothers yard from a stray calico. There were about 6 in the litter. All of them found homes through the neighbor girl, but Wolfie always hid when people came looking. One day I went to visit my Mom, and she said there was one kitten left, do I want to see it. So I went back to the yard and saw Wolfie playing in a pile of dirt -- he was so cute! He didn't run away and my Mom couldn't believe it -- I was the only one that could get near him. So I picked him up and took him into the front yard to hold him a bit. Wolfie's birth Mom came from the back yard to the front yard to check me out. She sniffed me, sniffed Wolfie, sniffed me and then left. Wolfie has been my constant companion ever since. And he won't go near anyone else. To others he is a mean 'ole tom cat; but with me he is the most loving, gentle cat I have ever known.
