KC was found on a wharf in LA, only a few weeks old, sick and dangerously underweight, with no family in sight.
Grr, Midnight & Cocoa's mommie Karen was volunteering at a shelter when they brought her in. No one else could get near her -- she wouldn't let anyone but Karen touch her. Karen teamed up with Deb to find her a forever home.
They contacted me, but I wasn't convinced a new kitten was right ...until I met KC! We picked her up at the airport on 7/22/07; one look into those big blue-green eyes, I never had a chance. We named her "KC" in honor of Karen C, who saved her life. Her full name is KC D Sherwood (the "Dee" is for Deb, whose hard work also saved KC's life).
