Arrival Story:
KC was found on a wharf in LA, only a few weeks old, sick and dangerously underweight, with no family in sight. Grr, Midnight & Cocoa's mommie Karen was volunteering at a shelter when they brought her in. No one else could get near her -- she wouldn't let anyone but Karen touch her. Karen teamed up with Deb to find her a forever home. They contacted me, but I wasn't convinced a new kitten was right ...until I met KC! We picked her up at the airport on 7/22/07; one look into those big blue-green eyes, I never had a chance. We named her "KC" in honor of Karen C, who saved her life. Her full name is KC Dee Sherwood (the "Dee" is for Deb, whose hard work also saved KC's life).
