MY BROTHERS AND I GET ALONG AND HOUSE EXPLORING

I get along great with my new brothers Sampy and Bailey. Bailey and I always play tag you're it and run up and down the stairs. SUCH FUN!!! Sampy sings to me and licks me on top of my head. That felt strange! Samp won't play with me like Bail does (of course, he's an old man). ANYHOW, I enjoy being part of this household and I got to do some exploring this weekend. Just Thursday I learned how to go down the stairs. It's easy now. I can even bunny hop like Bail does. He showed my how to do it.

Today, Mommy went nuts taking pictures of us all . . . even of that girl (my elusive sister) Cammie. Sampy told me this. He saw it all out the window.

Anyway, I'm hungry and Mommy said she's hungry. I had Sampy dictate this to Mommy. I'm a little guy and can't get all my words together yet. Mew, mew, mew for now.

GROWING PAINS.

I want to be a big boy. I'm tired of being a kitten. I want my fur long like my "brother Bail" and to try to get to be a big boy, I started eating big boy food. WOW!!! It tastes much better than the kitten crud Mommy feeds me! Maybe I'll get bigger if I keep eating the big boy food. I still eat my kitten food when Mommy goes to work because he has me in her room by myself then. She says I'm too little and too young to be alone unsupervised playing with my big brothers Sampy and Bail. They both are 10 times my size, but I'm not afraid of them at all. Mommy says in a few more weeks I can have the run of the house when she goes to work. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Got to go now. I have to chase Bail down the stairs. Mew, mew, mew, berrrrup for now!

I'M JUST A PURRING LITTLE GUY!

Just when the birds started chirping this morning I woke up Mommy by getting in her face and purring the loudest I could. Wake up, Mommy, wake up. Let me out so I could eat some more big boy food. My stuff tastes yucky! She got up and let me out and Sampy and Bail came flying in all trills and beeps. They were offered a chance to stay in the room with Mommy and me last night, but didn't want to. I guess they didn't want to eat my food either.

I had the run of the house today and IT WAS GREAT. Nobody bothered me. We all behaved.

Sampy even played with me yesterday. He and I ran a little while. I guess he felt a little younger as he sampled my yucky food this morning.

Well, I got to go now and I'm learning to say what my brothers say, Breeeeeep to all!

I GOT THE RUN OF THE HOUSE AND I MAY/OR MAY NOT BE A MAINE- COON

Mommy changed her mind and let me have the run of the house while she was at work since Sampy, Bail and I behaved really good unsupervised on two Sundays in a row. We all get along great and love each other very much. Sampy always gives me a big lick on the top of my head and Bail and I always play tag your it and ninja kitties and wrestling.

As to my background, my gene pool, as Mommy says, my cat Mom was allegedly a Maine Coon and my Dad was a domestic shorthair. I do not have the ear tufts or toes tufts, but I do have the shaggy belly hair, britches and fringy looking tail in places. I have those big Maine Coon stomper feet! I am also a black smoke. You can part my hair on the sides of my head, neck and tummy and it is white. Other parts of me it's gray underneath. I'm a funny looking guy!

Anyway, time will tell just how Maine Coony I'll be.

MY MOMMY FOUND MY STASH

Yes, she did! I had about four toy mice, four pom-pom balls and two crumpled up grocery receipts stashed under her dresser in her room. I put them there so my brothers couldn't get them. Sampy and Bail areYY too big to fit under the dresser! Ha, Ha. I got to have my own supply of toys. THEY'RE MINE, THEY'RE MINE!!!

MY NEW GAME AND I HAVE A VET VISIT TOMORROW

I have a new game I tried out today. I got my big pom-pom ball and threw it in the air and down the stairs. I then ran after it and rolled it across the living room floor! I also like attacking the ties on the dining room chair cushions. Mommy keeps tying them and I keep untying them. I also like to play with the dining room window blind. I close it and then Mommy opens it. This happened several times yesterday morning.

Bail is tired right now and so is Sampy. I guess I'm getting a little sleepy too. I'll try to sleep. I got a big day tomorrow. I go to the vet for a booster shot. Thrills upon thrills. I can't wait until it's over.

MY VET VISIT AND MY TEMPORARY PLUME TAIL

I went to the vet today and I did pretty good. I didn't like the needle part nor did I like my temperature taken. That was not fun! The vet told Mommy that I looked good and that I now weigh 3 lbs. 6 oz. That's a weight gain for me. Two weeks ago I was 2 lbs 14 oz. She said I definately had some longhair in me. Good!

I did get a temporary big plume tail today to. That's because there were two big dogs (that's what Sampy told me they were and how scary they are) in the vet's waiting room. I don't like dogs! I made like a Haloween kitty and had a big temporary plume tail.

Well, that's all for now. I'm a little bit sleepy.

ATTACK OF THE FIFTY FOOT LONG TAIL

Help! There's this long, long gray tail and it's after me. When it wasn't looking I got brave and snuck up on it and bopped it a couple of times. IT MOVED BACK AND FORTH! BOY WAS IT SCARY. Never had I seen such a scary, hairy thing in my life. What can it be???? Where did it come from . . . was it outer space?

Ha! Ha! This is Merlin's "B" movie staring me Merlin, and of course the owner of the tail is the BIG BAD BAIL WITH THE FLUFFY TAIL!!

HAPPY EASTER, EVEN THOUGH IT'S KIND OF LATE. I slept some today and played with Mommy and Sampy and Bail and my toys. The usual stuff.

I also got to eat a little piece of chicken. Boy was that tastey!

MOMMY GAVE ME SOME CATNIP TONIGHT

When Sampy came in from his evening stroll around the house, Mommy gave us both some catnip. This is the second time I had it and, WOW!!! I LIKE IT!!! Sampy really goes wild over it too. Bail didn't have any today, but he told me it doesn't do much for him. He'd rather play with his feather toys and chase me up and down the stairs.

Also, in the middle of the night, I purred in Mommy's face. I couldn't stop purring. I think I have Sampys purring disease!

Other than the above, tonight is a very lazy night. Sampy is sleeping and so is Bail. I'm sleepy too. I have no imagination tonight. I can't think of anymore scary movies to make up either.

I'M GROWING!

Yes, every day I get a little bigger! Only thing, I haven't been able to jump up on the kitchen counter like Sampy and Bail do. Oh, how I wish I could jump that high! I can't reach the windows either except for two of them . . . the one in Mommy's room where I can leap from her bed to the cat window seat and the other one in the spare bedroom from a basket of dirty laundry to a filing cabinet and then from the cabinet to the window.

I can't wait until I'm old enough to actually jump that high without some stuff serving as steps for me.

Also, my coat is getting a little bit longer. I have shaggy britches and tummy. My back toe tufts are a bit longer too. Time will tell. I still talk like a Maine Coon, Mommy tells me.

Not much else going on. It's raining and I'm tired.
