Arrival Story: We knew that our beloved ferrets were growing old and we began looking for a kitten to share our lives too. Our neighbor cat spent much time with us and we knew we wanted a a kitty of our own. We saw the ragdoll cats at a local cat show and fell in love with their size, beauty and docile nature. We searched for a local breeder, then waited for our boy to arrive. He was the only blue lynx in the litter and we fell in love. Our loud boy will be 2 years old in Feb. 07! We can't remember life without him. He is sensitive and needy and sweet. He has enhanced our lives so much.
Bio: Nikko is a handsome boy, but he does not seem to know it. He is insecure and a total mama's boy. Meow, meow...he is a talker. He has the most interesting facial expressions and huge blue eyes! True to Ragdoll nature, Nikko is floppy and loving. He loves to be hugged and kissed and snuggled, although he is very particular about how he wants to be held and petted. He follows me everywhere and is not the least bit aloof. He is a mushy snugglepuss! He is sensitive and can get his feelings hurt, but he gets over it quickly.

As you all know, I don't write in my diary enough. I just wanted to write to ask all of you to purr for our dear raggie friend, Tiskers. Tiskers is the twin of Mittens and is in Boogers' family. He is such a sweet kitty. He is his mommy's little love bug and he has just been diagnosed with HCM. We ragdolls can be prone to this awful disease, although any cat can get it. The Catster community lost Picasso to this last year.
We feel so badly for Tisker's whole family and we just know that with all of Catsterland behind him, he can still live a long time and have fun with his family.
So, join Scooter and me in a group purr for Tiskers.
Today was a normal Friday. Nothing much going on. Daddy came home with a box. It smelled like a cat! "Open it, open it, Daddy, we meowed"
Mommy ran in and opened the box and IT WAS A CAT! A stray cat rescued by Calvin's Mawmee and sent to us by none other than one of our besties, PanZy! She told Calvin's Mawmee we would provide a good home for her.
Wait til you hear this: She is handmade and she is a German Princess! Yep! Her name is Fräulein Prinzessin and she has big blue eyes and is a blue point like us! She speaks only German, but that is no problem, because we all speak German.
She gives smoochies and I love smoochies!
THANK YOU PANZY!!!!! We will give her the best home ever! Thanks to Calvin's Mawmee for rescuing her. She was a stray, can you believe it?
We will post photos as soon as Scooter and I quit fighting over her and she has had some food and some rest.
Hey, everycat!! As you all know, we are not very good at keeping up with our diaries. However, today a special package came in the mail. Daddy brought the mail in and said there was a package and it looked like it might be from one of our kitty friends. Mommy helped us open it and saw it was from The Cat in the Clover. Inside was a package of 3 Rats!! EEeeeeeeee! There was a nice card too and a little catnip square to play with. The card was from our lovely Canadian friend, Pansy. It wished us a happy Easter and said one rat was for me, the other was for Scooter, and the third was for our mommy! It was packaged so nicely! Thank you, Pansy!! We were so surprised! All three of us are high on nip! Especially Mommy. She thinks she is a cat too. Oh, dear! We will get pictures posted asap.
Calvin's mawmee sure does nice work. Our sleep sacks that we got from her are our all time favorite beds!!
Boy, it sure was a fun day with our new rat pack!!
