Arrival Story: We knew that our beloved ferrets were growing old and we began looking for a kitten to share our lives too. Our neighbor cat spent much time with us and we knew we wanted a a kitty of our own. We saw the ragdoll cats at a local cat show and fell in love with their size, beauty and docile nature. We searched for a local breeder, then waited for our boy to arrive. He was the only blue lynx in the litter and we fell in love. Our loud boy will be 2 years old in Feb. 07! We can't remember life without him. He is sensitive and needy and sweet. He has enhanced our lives so much.
Bio: Nikko is a handsome boy, but he does not seem to know it. He is insecure and a total mama's boy. Meow, meow...he is a talker. He has the most interesting facial expressions and huge blue eyes! True to Ragdoll nature, Nikko is floppy and loving. He loves to be hugged and kissed and snuggled, although he is very particular about how he wants to be held and petted. He follows me everywhere and is not the least bit aloof. He is a mushy snugglepuss! He is sensitive and can get his feelings hurt, but he gets over it quickly.

Just wanted to give a quick update, since all my friends have been so kind and purred for me during my nasty bladder infection and peewee problems. *blushes-so embarrassing*
I am feeling a tiny bit better every day. I am visiting the box much less often and I even played with Scooter today. I am liking my new special vet food and I think the liquid medicine is yummy and I take it like a champ. This morning I was really, really cuddly with Mommy and purring like crazy.
I still have a ways to go. I made a flojectile this morning and I do more and smaller puddles than absolutely normal.
Yesterday, Mommy and Daddy bought me a new fountain. We already have a CatIt fountain that Scooter LOVES, but I am not that keen on it and I am not a big drinker. So, they bought a new WhiskerCity fountain. They figured two cats=two fountains. Of course, Scooter LOVES it too and I am kind of interested in it too. Maybe I will try to drink more.
Mommy says the best sign that I am feeling better is that Scooter is more like himself today. While I was sick, Scooter was very quiet. She was even wondering if he was feeling poorly. Today, when he saw me a bit perked up, he perked up too. I think he was being quiet to be supportive. What a good brother he is!

Mornin' Kitties!
I had a pretty good night. I even pestered Mommy to snuggle me early this morning like I always do when she is trying to sleep in. I purred. I guess I have decided to forgive her for taking me to the vet place where they tortured me and gave me sub standard lodging. I guess she was trying to help me. You would think they could help a fellow without ruining his dignity. *snort*
I am making fewer trips to the box. Still a bit too many. The living room is still redecorated with towels covering all the furniture, but I haven't had any accidents lately. Scooter and I love the new decor. It makes all the chairs cozy to snooze on. MOL
I ate some more of that yummy vet food this morning. I like it so far. Mommy is still mixing it with my old wet food so I don't get a tummy upset from a quick switch.
I plan a day of resting and will take my meds. Tomorrow we will see if I am much improved and call the vet if not. Mommy says she wants to make sure we are squared away for Christmas and don't have to visit any emergency vet places.

Meows!
I am just now getting around to writing and update because I really slept all day. I am awfully tired. I feel a bit better and am eating and taking my medicine well.
I don't visit the litter box as often, but still ALOT. I still feel like I have to go when I don't really. I like the new litterbox in the living room. Mommy bought it last night at the store and put it in the living room so that I wouldn't want to go on the furniture. Now, when I have that sudden urge, I don't have to run upstairs or into the downstairs bathroom. I just go across the room. Mommy says not to get too used to it. It is not her idea of pretty decor and it will go away when I get well. Scooter thinks it is pretty convenient too. MOL I will hate to see it go.
I had some special food tonight. Mommy bought it at the vet. It was canned food and was yummy. It is supposed to help me with my peewee problem. I even think the Clavamox medicine is tasty. Tastes like bananas.
Mommy says if I am still wanting to pee so often by Monday, she is going to call the vet and make sure this is the best medicine for me.
Scooter took good care of me today. We slept together in the chair by the window most of the day. Mommy took pictures and will post them tomorrow to my site and Facebook. She said it was really cute.
Time for bed! Mommy says I need plenty of rest!
