Arrival Story: Ashley is my daughter's cat. We got her when she was a kitten. My daughter was seven years old at the time. She had been asking me for a cat for a long time. I thought I was a dog person but it turns out I'm both. I rescued Ashley from the shelter as a birthday present for my daughter. ----- when i was 3 i wanted a cat and my mom said when i was 7 i could get one so about a month before my 7th birthday i asked what kind of cat i was getting. she never thought i'd remember.
Bio: Ashley was very sick when we brought her home. She had ear mites, fleas, and an upper respiratory infection. She was a stray that was brought into the shelter with her brothers and sisters. We were told she was a male since orange female tabby cats are more rare. I never dreamt Ashley would get as large as she is. She's a great cat though and always gets along with our other pets. ----- i named her jake but then i found out she was a girl so the name ashley stuck. my grandpop wanted to feed her once but picked the wrong bag and fed her a bowl of treats instead. he's her favorite person.

Food of course! I love to eat and I'm thankful that Thanksgiving is about turkey. I love turkey and all other meats except liverwurst, yuck! I'm thankful that I have cat food in my bowl everyday and I'm thankful that it is food that tastes good. I'm thankful for the treats I get and the little pieces of table scraps that mom lets me eat. I'm thankful for the dog food because I can try to sneak in the dog bowl and eat some of that food too. I'm thankful for the food my furless sister drops on the ground. I think you get the idea, shall I go on? I'm thankful for the guinea pig food I try to steal, and the guinea pig alfalfa.......
