indoors Arrival Story: Calvin was my aunt's beloved cat. When she passed away, her evil husband took all 4 of her cats to the Humane Society the day after the funeral. I "bought" all 4 of them back - found homes for 3 and kept him! He is a great cat, and I know why she loved him so much. Calvin made his journey to the bridge on October 26th at 11:35 a.m. after a six week battle with stomach cancer. Rest in peace, sweet angel. We will love and miss your precious face. July 19, 1991 - October 26, 2009 Bio: Calvin is the most affectionate cat I've ever been around. He would spend all day in your lap if he could! He loves to snuggle at night and capture any body heat he can. We had to buy a king-sized bed because of Calvin.
Clocks are not needed in our house since we got Calvin. He is the morning alarm clock. And you know if he is sitting in the kitchen by the refrigerator, it must be 3:30 p.m. With Calvin, you can't just give a spontaneous treat because then he will expect it every day at the same time! Calvin also sleeps in the cutest positions. His mommy says, "you can't get any cuter than that" about the way he sleeps! For an older cat he is always ready for fun, and he has quite an adventureous spirit. I'm March 2012's Angel Furt of the Month!
I was very sad when I got the news earlier today to get ready for a special arrival at the bridge. Everycat's pal, Skeezix, made his journey tonight.
Wowza, whose life hasn't been changed by Skeezix? Back in the old days of Catster, we had so many fun parties and contests with Skeez. He is a legend in the blogosphere. Cats all over the world know about things like vishus deer, kyoot clothes, and urjes because of Skeez!
His Food Lady and Mr. Tasty Face are going to be very sad that he is no longer on earth. But, I know it won't be long before they will feel his angel dust and the flutter of his wings. And what wings they will be! I know a very special pink pair will be waiting at the tailor shop for him.

We got notice yesterday that our pal, Charlie, would be journeying to the bridge today.
So, everyone got busy sprucing up the place to get ready for his arrival. Of course, you all know about the big Welcome sign that we hold up to greet our newest angels.
The Garden Committee plants flowers at the gate, and boy does it look beautiful! Every flower you can think of is in bloom, and there are so many colors! While we wait for Charlie's arrival, we'll get to swat at the bees and butterflies that like to hang out around the flowers!
I'll have to warn Charlie when he gets here that tomorrow is National Hug Your Cat Day. If your owner is also up here at the bridge, they get to spend the day hugging you. If your owner is still down on earth, the girlcats go around all day hugging us boycats. Dang, it is one long day! Charlie is just going to be getting out of orientation and will be getting a gazillion hugs tomorrow!
Don't be afraid, Charlie. It will be a peaceful journey, and when you arrive, you'll be taken good care of by all your angel pals. Comforting purrs to your Momma and sister, Jezebel, during this sad time.
Today all the angels took turns sprinkling angel dust on our pal, Skeezix, as he underwent surgery. The vet found a big tumor inside his belly, and they did surgery today to check it out.
Unfortunately, the news is very sad. He has lots of bad cancer throughout his body. We are all upset and very sad for his Food Lady, Mr. Tastyface, and his siblings.
Please keep Skeezix in your purrs. We hope he has a long time left with his family, but whenever it is his time to journey, we will be waiting to greet him with open paws.
