Arrival Story: Calvin was my aunt's beloved cat. When she passed away, her evil husband took all 4 of her cats to the Humane Society the day after the funeral. I "bought" all 4 of them back - found homes for 3 and kept him! He is a great cat, and I know why she loved him so much.
Bio: Calvin is the most affectionate cat I've ever been around. He would spend all day in your lap if he could! He loves to snuggle at night and capture any body heat he can. We had to buy a king-sized bed because of Calvin.
Clocks are not needed in our house since we got Calvin. He is the morning alarm clock. And you know if he is sitting in the kitchen by the refrigerator, it must be 3:30 p.m. With Calvin, you can't just give a spontaneous treat because then he will expect it every day at the same time! Calvin also sleeps in the cutest positions. His mommy says, "you can't get any cuter than that" about the way he sleeps! For an older cat he is always ready for fun, and he has quite an adventureous spirit.

Today my Pal of the Week is two years old! Happy Birthday, Phineas!
Phineas is his long, fancy name. I like to call him Phinny. You might not know Phinny, but I'll bet you know his diva sister - Luna! She is one of the girls that is crazy about me!
Phinny is Tonkinese. I think that means he plays with tonka toys. I've never had any tonka toys, so I guess that is why I'm not Tonkinese.
I'll bet he is the only Catster cat whose favorite toy is a dressage whip. Dang, I don't even know what one of those is, but I'll bet it is a fun toy! He is also a boy that likes feet. I don't know whose feet he likes, but he probably doesn't like stinky ones.
Phinny is very handsome and photogenic. I like his blue eyes. They are as blue as mine are green, whatever that means.
Phinny probably doesn't know this, but he is really luck to be in his forever home. You see, his family wanted an orange cat - mainly cause they saw how cute I am and Luna was begging for an orange brother. But, when they went to the New Hampshire SPCA, they saw Phinny and fell in love with him.
This new word is for all the Catster Moms. I see it alot at our house - especially after vacation! I'll bet you cats see it at your house too - even more if you have teenagers!
The word for today is . . . . . . . mow the laundry!
Mow the laundry is what happens after clothes lay piled up on the bedroom floor for weeks. I'm glad I don't have to do laundry!
Happy Canada Day to all my Canadian friends! Get your Canada on today, and if you're not from Canada, then go mow the laundry!
Some of our friends were asking about Mawmee and Daddy's visit to Best Friends Animal Society when they went to Utah on their vacation.
The Catster Blog lady - Skeezix's Mom - said she wanted to do an interview of their trip, so I wanted to let you know that sometime soon you can find out all about their visit on the blog.
You can also read the Catster blog for the story about Lucky Boo's Mom and her visit to Best Friends this year.
Mawmee and Daddy had a really good time on their vacation, and I'm really glad they are home. Mawmee said I look good, and not too thin, so I must have done okay with fewer wet meals.
I'm trying to get her back on the 6-wet-meal-a-day-schedule, but so far, it isn't working!
