The past couple years now, I've had a few battles with my health. Mom naturally freaks out when I sneeze, but I have always pulled through thanks to the love and support you have all given mom and me. Mom has been so worried that the day would come that I would have to take insulin shots and I thought for sure Thursday that would be what they found in my bloodwork. My sugar was okay, but I once again am having another attack with pancreatitis. That explains why I've been so cranky and whining all the time. Well Dr. Conklin has always promised to be honest with mom and she was. She really can't predict what is going to happen. This may be another mild attack or it could get worse. She doesn't want to give me anything now for pain because of the affect it will have on my other medical problems. Plus she doesn't feel I'm in that much pain right now. But she did say to mom that this is the beginning of the end. She just can't tell mom how long I have. Those of you who know me, know I'm a pretty strong stubborn Meezer so I'm trying to tell mom I'll be around for awhile. But mom is balling like a baby every time I look at her. Well not that often, but right now she's not handling this news very well. She is to call the vet tomorrow to let her know how my weekend went. I did eat a little bit but threw up this morning. Much better than Thursday when mom took me in.
I just want to thank all of you for the special gifts and words of encouragement. It means so much to us to know you care. Please also know that we are sending you all our love and prayers as well. I love you all so much. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
It's a beautiful day here in PA!! The sun is shining, and its nice and warm! Now this is what I call summer!!! I hope you are all enjoying your summer! Mom's mouth is watering for corn on the cob, so she's been out driving around the farms measuring the cornstalks! *giggles*
Well I couldn't possibly begin to write to all of you individually, so I thought I would share my news with you in my diary!!
Mom and I are going on a vacation together and not sure when we'll be back. Mom and I are both fighting for attention when it comes to our health, and mom has a lot of books and activities she wants to accomplish. I think I also heard her say we are getting our apartment painted and I can't be here when they do it! *Yikes* Aunt Linda here we come!!! *giggles*
So you all have to promise me that you'll stay well and happy til I return. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers and I will be keeping in touch.... that's for sure. I love you guys too much to completely forget you!!!

But because mom loves pumpkin pie so much and calls me "Pumpkin" when I've been good..... I have to say pumpkin pie ice cream is my favorite! Now if they could add nuts to the pumpkin ice cream.... that would be ideal for me cause I am slightly nuts! *giggles*
