Arrival Story:
We managed a set of apartments in Wisconsin in 2002. We needed to find Punkin a companion for when we made visits to my family in Indiana. I looked in the local newspaper and saw an ad for free kittens. I called and later my husband and I went to the address. There were lots of kittens there. One litter was only about 3 weeks old. And I think another litter was just a bit older. The only kitty that kept following us was a 3 month old. It was a very tiny 3 month old. But it just kept insisting on following our every move. The lady that lived there kept saying " that is a real sweet one ". She said I think it is a girl. I told my husband this kitty looks real sick and I`d hate to get it and have it die on us. But after a while of looking at kittens...I said okay, I`ll take the one following us around. The lady asked for my E-mail address and said she would like to keep in touch with me about the kittens progress. And of course I thought " Oh sure "....like you`ll really do that. And how many people would do that? We got the kitten home and I told my husband I thought it was a boy. But he said it was a girl. So that evening I named it Lucy. It was the very next day that we took the kitten to the vet. She weighed it and came back in the room and she said I hope you don`t mind that it is a boy. And I sure did`nt mind because I really had wanted a boy. I then told the vet to put the kittens name as Charlie. I named him after my father who passed away in 1996. He had always been fond of cats. We had plenty of them growing up. A great name for a great kitty. It ended up that Charlie was indeed a very sick kitten. Too many things to get into detail about. He was 8 months old before he got a clean bill of health and was then able to start getting his shots. We are so happy that he had the will and desire to live. I too must mention that the vet told us that Charlie would probably never be a very big kitty. Today he is a very chubby 18 pound boy. I also found out from the vet that Charlie was part Siamese. Because I had asked her about his crossed looking eyes.

Bio:
We are very delighted that Charlie chose us! And you better believe he did. And the lady we got Charlie from....well she did indeed keep in touch with me. We exchange photo`s and we write letters. When I go back to Wisconsin to visit my mother there....The lady (Bonnie) and I make sure we get together and chat about our babies. She is a rare person that will never turn down stray kitties. She has several indoor kitties of her own and still she makes sure that all of the outdoor kitties eat and have a warm place to sleep. So I have to thank my Charlie for helping me to find one of the best friends that I have ever known. Charlie is a beautiful boy and when he knows mommy is sad or depressed.. he will come to me and get on my lap and love and purr his little heart out. And when he does this...I have to ask myself " How in the World can you feel sad when you have all of this love in a FurSuit? ". He has a way of lifting my spirits every time. He's my Angel and my sweetheart. I love you precious Charlie!!!!!

WELL, ALL I GET TO DO IS TO TYPE THIS SILLY DIARY ENTRY......BECAUSE I MISSED OUT ON THE PHOTO SHOOT YESTERDAY. I HEARD MOMMY AND AUNTIE LINDA TALKING TO MY SIBLINGS.....BUT I WAS RESTING SO COMFY, THAT I COULD NOT BRING MYSELF TO GET UP AND GO DOWNSTAIRS. SIGH!!!!!

KARMA KITTY HAS 2 NEW PHOTO'S ON HER PAGE. THE 2nd AND THE 3rd PHOTO'S ON HER PAGE ARE OF THE CAT-WALK.

HELLO AND GOOD EVENING,
TO START THIS OUT I WILL POINT OUT THE FACT THAT I AM A VERY LAYED BACK EASY GOING KINDA GUY. BUT MOST OF MY FRIENDS ALREADY KNOW THAT.

AND ANOTHER THING....ANYONE THAT KNOWS ME...REALIZES I AM QUITE THE BIG LOVER BOY. IF IT REEKS OF LOVE.....I'M THERE!

SO YOU KNOW WHAT I'M SAYING? I'M SAYING WITH MY SWEET NATURE THAT I AM NOT NORMALLY BOTHERED BY ANYTHING.

CALL ME SILLY....BUT MY MOMMY HAS BEEN RUNNING OFF ALMOST EVERY DAY. MOST OF THE TIME IT IS NEVER FOR OVER A COUPLE OF HOURS.....BUT....THAT'S NOT THE POINT.
THE POINT IS I WANT MY MOMMY HOME ALL THE TIME AGAIN.

IN THE WINTER MOMMY ACTS AS THOUGH IT'S GONNA KILL HER TO EVEN GO TO THE STORE. SHE'S QUITE A HAPPY CAMPER HANGING OUT WITH US AT HOME WHEN IT'S COLD.

BEING THE WISE GUY THAT I KNOW I AM ...... I KNOW SHE'S RUNNING AROUND MORE BECAUSE IT'S SUMMER AND IT'S SO
LOVELY OUT. SHE DON'T FOOL ME NONE.

I WISH MOMMY WAS MY PET...SO I COULD SHOW HER HOW IT FEELS! SO LEAVE YOUR POOR LITTLE BABIES ALONE MOMMY......

I JUST TRIED OUR NEW CAT-WALK. I THINK IT'S GONNA HOLD UP WITH ALL OF MY WEIGHT. BUT I DID NOTICE THE BOARD MAKE A NOISE WHEN I WAS ON IT.
MAYBE THIS THING WILL LURE ME TO GET MORE EXERCISE.
NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MOL!
