Sleeping, being near Mom, eating & bothering Grandma for food

Pet-Peeves:
Being picked up while sleeping, not being able to reach flying bugs, not being fed at exactly the right times.

Favorite Toy:
Catnip mice! (I like to eat their tails!) I also love straws of any kind. And little stuffed animals that I can carry around.

Favorite Nap Spot:
In the recliner or on the couch. Or on any bed Mom happens to be lounging on. Actually, anywhere's good.

Favorite Food:
Any possibly edible thing on the face of the planet. Except Trim Treats, because they're nasty. And my urinary tract diet, 'cause obviously since I need it I don't want it!

Skills:
Can spot bugs a mile away. Can also talk anyone into anything he wants.

Dwells:
indoors

Arrival Story:
While working at an animal hospital, a man brought in a small cardboard box that was closed (and had no air holes!) When I opened the box, there was an adorable kitten looking up at me. He tried to get up to greet me but couldn't, because he'd just been hit by a car. We immediately gave him some medicine for pain and took some x-rays, and the owner said he'd be right back-he needed to go get some money. He never came back, and this kitten was just the sweetest thing. Pippin had a fractured pelvis and dislocated hip that, according to the vet, should heal okay with time. After ten days (the standard waiting period) Pippin came home with me.

Oh wow! Are any of our friends still hanging around? We haven't been here in a really long time! Sorry for deserting you, Catster friends! Mom is silly. Sisfur Ava and I have had lots and lots of family changes-and we're still both hanging around-so Mom will be updating our family and adding new pictures of us. She missed having a community that relates to her love of us cats and other fur and feathers (wait, there are crazy people who don't, Mom?!) Anyway, say hey if you remember us or even if you don't-we love friends!!

Hi efurryone! A quick update--we don't get to log in much since mom is working full time, going to school full time, and working on a little side business as well :) But we check in periodically so we can try to keep up with all our kittypals!

I have had a nonhealing corneal ulceration. It lasted several months, and ended with me going to a veterinary opthalmologist. I had a few different procedures, but it finally started healing. I have some weird scar tissue mom's keeping an eye on, but we're just thankful it's not hurting me and keeping me from seeing any more!
Otherwise I've just been involved in my favorite things--eating and sleeping!

Sister Ava Grace is herself--for better or worse, MOL! She eats the mailman, anyone who comes in the house to fix anything (like the cable guy!) and even worse, the vet! I mean, I don't like to go either but she's pretty scary when she goes!
But at home, with Mom, she's her regular sweet, fuzzy, affectionate self. Mom says it's just because she has a "Tortie attitude", whatever that means.

And last but not least, brother Cole is a huge mess. He's into everything, on everyone, has the crazies more than any other cat I've ever seen...but whenever I look at him I see my brother Turtle. He's sooo much like him I think Turtle picked him for us so it wouldn't hurt so bad. He loves to play like Turtle did, and he likes a good head scratch....well, until he decides he needs to play again!

Anyway, just wanted to stop in and update you all :) Headbutts, big purrs, and warm fuzzies!

PS-Happy birthday, Turtle. I miss you...sometimes I sit in places you liked to sit, even though they're not places I would normally go. Love you!

I have a sniffly, sneezy thing that I think came from my sisfur. Darn her! It doesn't seem to bother me TOO much, but man it's annoying! Oh well, it could always be worse, right?

I had my checkup a couple of days ago...I got a clean bill of health except the vet said I was a "chunk." Well, excuse me for having big bones! Is it such a bad thing to enjoy my food? Sheesh. Give a guy a break!

Mom does say something about "diabeetus" though, so she's cutting back my treats. Boy, does that make me cranky. I NEED my treats to...well, I'm not sure why, but I JUST DO.

Aaaaanyway. It's starting to thunder a little, so maybe we'll get some rain to cool it off a little!
