Arrival Story:
On the afternoon of Wednesday, April 27th, 2005, my husband rescued Reebok and Nike from where he works. They had a little sister and were living in a storage area where some guys were feeding them. Their sister was taken home and named Seagate. The guys told my husband about the two boys so he went to look at them. He called me on the phone to talk about fostering them and then turning them over to Safe Haven rescue to help them find their permanent homes. They were picked up by hand, put in a box, and off they came to our house! We made a vet appointment for that afternoon and the results were all good! I gave the boys a nice little bath together in the bathroom sink, treated them with Revolution, and saw just how beautiful they really were. Then we set up the guest bedroom for the little guys to let them get comfortable in their new surroundings.
Bio:
Needless to say, these guys never left! When Reebok and Nike were babies, they often used the litter box together and it was so cute! Although you'll find Reebok napping with the older kitties, there is something special about seeing him cuddled up with Nike because it reminds me so much of when they were babies and I know that they have a special bond. When Reebok was a baby, his way of meowing at us sounded like "eh-ehhhhh" and this is still the way he talks to us today. He's a real sweetheart and loves to sit by me or on me when I'm watching TV or on the computer but he is so big now. He's always been a big eater but a mild-mannered and sweet boy.

Dad told Mom that somecat left some skid marks on the tile and they weren't the kind from cars since we don't drive. So why did everyone look at me right away? Since Dad cleaned up the evidence before Mom saw it, she's not sure it's from scootin' or trackin'.
Our tails got pulled up for inspection but so far no evidence has been found. Until we hire someone to sit in front of the litter boxes 24/7, we have a mystery!

I started laffin and laffin like my best friend Jeter when I woke up and found out that I was chosen as Diary of the "turd" Day!
Thank you to HQs for giving me this honor and my friends, old and new, for your gifts and pawmails. It's been fun reading your cheerful messages along with some of your own views about turds and stuff!
I say that the bigger the better can be a GRATE thing sometimes!
