I MET OLIVER (WHO WAS KNOWN AS JIP) AT THE BERKELEY HUMANE SOCIETY, A NO KILL FACILITY. HE HAD BEEN RESCUED FROM THE POUND AND WAS RECOVERING FROM A COLD. I'M A VOLUNTEER "KITTY CUDDLER" AT THE HUMANE SOCIETY AND WORK WITH THE CATS THAT ARE UP FOR ADOPTION AND ALSO WITH THE KITTIES IN THE CLINIC WHO ARE RECOVERING FROM VARIOUS ILLNESSES, USUALLY URI. WHEN I TOOK OLIVER OUT OF HIS CAGE TO PLAY HE ROLLED ON TO HIS BACK FOR A TUMMY RUB, THEN STROLLED OVER TO VISIT THE OTHER CATS - HE HAS SUCH A CALMING PRESENCE THAT WE ALL FELT BETTER AFTER HE HAD VISITED WITH EACH OF US. OF COURSE, THOSE GREEN EYES AND BUSHY TAIL WERE ALSO IRRISISTIBLE! HOPE HIS 'BROTHER' JACKSON AND HIS 'SISTER' KILA WILL LOVE HIM AS MUCH AS I DO.

YIKES!! I'VE BEEN TAGGED!!!!!!!!

In the last two days I've been tagged by Edgarina, Sunrise and Tommy(1990-2003). I hid under the chair but they still got me and now I'm playing the TAG game.

The rules of the TAG game: Each player starts wtih seven random facts about themselves. Cats who are tagged need to write on their own diary about the seven things and the rules. You need to choose seven cats to TAG and list their names. Don't forget to leave them a comment that they have been tagged and to read your diary.

1) I was rescued from certain death by the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society; then my mom found me and took me home.
2) My toe tufts are really, really long;
3) I've gained a pound since my last vet visit one year ago;
