A day in the life

Mew Mew everyone.

It's a lazy day today. I had a lot of fun this morning but now mom is at work and that means I get the bed all to myself for the next few hours. I may let LuLu sleep on the end, only if she doesn't bug me.

I finally got my lazy mom up at 7:00am. She let us out for our morning adventure but down the way there was a big truck thing that sprayed water. It was very loud and I didn't like that so I came inside to again try to capture the evil sparkle balls. They always manage to get stuck under something and I have to work really hard, harder than a cat of my stature should have to.

Mom told me that she will come straight home after work so we can go out for a couple of hours. She never lets us out after dark but boy do I want to. There are so many neat smells. She says I am lucky to have an entire screened in porch for my pleasure but I want more. I always want more.

Fresh Air

Yesterday mom came home early and I got to go outside for 4 whole hours. Of course she kept popping up making sure I was within her sight. Why can't she just leave me alone out there?

Some strange cat was on the other side of the fence looking at me funny. I let him know that he better not think of comming over to my yard. Lulu came for a look too but I just took that opportunity to pounce on her since I could not get to the strange cat. Mom yelled at me and gave her a treat. Whats up with that?

Later in the evening I was feeling a bit guilty about Lulu so I let her have the top spot on the perch by the window. She got up there and looked so full of herself. Pesky kitty.

Another day, another nap

I love Catster. My mom and us kitties get to be friends with so many other nice kitties. I have a favorite new British friend. His name is Sylvester and he has had a really rough life starting out. I hope to keep making more friends on Catster. For now it is off for another nap, gosh my days are hard.

Just call me the Hunter

This past weekend I caught a bird. I brought it to mom and put it in her bedroom. She didn't go into her bedroom for a couple of hours so it was quite the suprise. When I went to check on it, it was gone as were all the feathers that came out while I was playing with it. Mom must have ate it. I am such a good provider for her.

For some reason she has threatened me with a bell around my neck. Doesn't she know that this will make catching food for her difficult?

Wow! Thank you Catster for making me Cat of the Week. I feel so happy to share this honor with all the great kitties who have served before me.

I will try my best to represent my family and all my great friends well.

Now, off to see what I can milk out of mom for this. hee hee hee

What?????

Here it is, my first full day as COTW. It has been pretty cool. I have so many new friends and so many well wishes and Rosettes from my existing friends. Catster is just soooo cool.

So ,I am strutting around the house today showing off and what do I see? I see that big black box with wheels. I think mom calls it her suitcase. What is that thing doing out? There is only one reason and I don't like it. Mom is going away. She told me that she needs to go visit her family that lives way far away from us.

It's just not fair! Here I am COTW and she is going to abandon us for 7 whole days. Well, I guess its not so bad. That other nice lady comes over and makes a big fuss over me everyday. I also get extra treats from her.

Well, off to find a breeze.

Spring is here and I am such a happy kitty. I caught a huge fly yesterday and played with it forever. Mom was grossed out.

Life is good

Yep, that about says it all, Life has been pretty good to me lately. Last weekend mom took all of her junky furniture off the screen porch and put down wool carpet tiles. Then she moved what she called a "daybed" out there. I say, its a Diego bed. We now have lots of room to play and my new bed is awsome. It has a cover that hangs to the floor so I can get underneath and plan my sneak attacks. The weather has been so nice that both me and LuLu have been sleeping on the porch instead of in bed with mom. I keep inviting her to sleep on my big bed with me but so far she hasn't taken me up on it.

I also found a great place to nap when mom lets me out. I found some bushes that once you get in, have a open place for me to sleep. I am almost totally hidden. I like it because I am only 6 feet from the house and can see & hear all that goes on. I don't like being too far away.

Thats all for now. I hope all my great friends are having a wonderful summer.

What to wish for????

Well, my 3 year birthday is this Saturday, Sept. 30th. I can't believe I will be three already. I still feel like a kitten.

I wonder what mom will get me? Will I have new tissue paper to play with?

I have been so happy since mom adopted me. I am such a lucky kitty.
