Bio:
Daisy is very special. We have 2 African Greys that say her name and meow like her. She's my only cat that doesn't tolerate or like being carried around. She has a "mind of her own" and we love her for that! *** She's developed allergies in her senior years and is doing better eating freeze-dried and frozen raw food. *** On June 24, 2013 Daisy was diagnosed with a 9 cm oblong mass in her abdomen. It was removed and found to be adenocarcinoma of the exocrine pancreas. Her prognosis is guarded and we are enjoying her remaining days with us. *** To keep her eating, I had to feed Daisy whatever she wanted, and her food allergies caused her to lick and scratch excessively. She was taking Zyrtec, but it wasn't helping enough. On August 14, 2013 her vet prescribed prednisolone and Mirtazapine; and we also put a calming collar on her. She is feeling better and eating well.***After five months, the tumor was growing back and pushing against her lungs. Her quality of life declined suddenly. On December 1, 2013, we helped her make her journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Daisy is forever loved and remembered.

Thank You

A big furry thank you to the wonderful, caring furiends who remembered my birthday at the Bridge.

Mom has been busy caring for my sibling who have been having a lot of health problems lately. Pounce is still recovering from being hospitalized with a high fever. And Benson will be taking chemo drugs soon for intestinal cancer. While trimming his nails last night mom noticed his back feet (multiple nail beds) are very infected and painful. When it rains it pours.

Wishing everyone a furtastic day!

Hugs & Love,
Angel Daisy

Thanks furiends for thinking of me on this special day. A day filled with tears and sweet memories for my furmily.

I'm happy that my mom is moving on and giving other kitties a furever home. They all deserve to be loved.

It's a sad day for my mom as today she will be attending the funeral of her oldest brother. She is the youngest of 10 and he is the first one to leave.

Peace and love to everyone.

Hugs,
Daisy Angel

Four Feet in Heaven

Your favorite chair is vacant now...
No eager purrs to greet me.
No softly padded paws to run
Ecstatically to meet me.

No coaxing rubs nor plaintive cry
Will say it's time for feeding.
I've put away your bowl, and all the things
You won't be needing.

But I will miss you, little friend
For I could never measure
The happiness you brought me,
The comfort and the pleasure.

And since God put you here to share
In earthly joy and sorrow,
I'm sure there'll be a place for you
In Heaven's bright tomorrow!

A poem in remembrance of me, a very special angel.

Love,
Daisy
