Arrival Story:
Mom had never had a pet and wanted to adopt a rescue kitty. She fell for a big orange fellow and adopted him. He made himself right at home. Unfortunately, he bit mom's 9 year old granddaughter really hard on the cheek the first week. It freaked mom and everyone else out. So mom took him back to the rescue group--she was crying all the way there and home and for days after. They did find him a good home though--one with no young kids. But having no experience with pets, mom was too scared to adopt another rescue kitty. So she did some research about kitties who are laid back and good around kids. Ragdolls looked like a good fit so mom got my brother and me when we were 10 weeks old. Mom loves us very much (she says she can't imagine life without us) but still feels bad about not adopting a rescue kitty. So almost all of her charitable contributions go to animal rescue groups.

Cody and I turned 11 years old today! We had such a lovely day, made even better by our wonderful Catster friends who stopped by with their birthday wishes and great prezzies. Manytoes and family even sent us beautiful birthday photos that our catretary added to our pages.

Thank you all so very much! We love you all!

Thank you to our dear friends who were able to stop by & say hello on my and Cody's Gotcha Day today. You even sent us great prezzies--what fun! We have been cracking the whip over our catretary to make sure she gets our thank yous out. We think she got them all, but Catster sure doesn't make it easy sometimes :-/

Anyway, today marked 10 years since the wonderful day that mom and her granddaughter brought Cody & me home. Our lives (mine, Cody's & mom's) have been better ever since :-) Mom says she doesn't know what she would do without us & can't imagine life without her kit kats running around. We feel the same way & sure are glad that mom brought us home that day so long ago.

Thank you again for stopping by. We love you!

Woweee, I am so excited and honored! Mom showed me my picture on the Community page as Diary of the Day & I was purring up a storm! Thank you, Catster diary peeps.

This has been such a special week for our family, with 2 birthdays and 2 DOTDs, that we hardly know what to say. The very best part (well, except for our chicken treats-MOL!) has been hearing from so many wonderful Catster friends. This is such a special community & we are so grateful that despite all the recent difficulties, Catster still lives on for all the wonderful kitties and their peeps.

Cody & I (and our little brother, Raj) are still resting up from the big birthday doin's yesterday. It was such a super day, with our favorite chicken treats & new catnip bananas & fresh feathers for chomping on. But it was really hot for our neck of the woods. I was lying on my back in the middle of the wood floor right under the ceiling fan, or on my back in the middle of mom's bed right under that ceiling fan, to stay cool.

Mom says she has to step away from her catretary duties now, and get back to work so she can make some money for us. So I will say bye for now and love & hugz to you all!
