Arrival Story:
Smiley showed up one day with a collar, so I thought someone new had moved in. He came everyday to visit my other kitty & would hang out (live in condo). The weather got extremely hot & he came by one night & no longer had a collar. The next day he was laying in the dirt & could barely meow. I put some water out, but that's not what he wanted. He looked very thin, so I put a little dry food out & he went at it. Gramma & Grampa came to visit & he tried to follow Grampa to the car. I called kitty kitty & he came back. He was very friendly & a neighbor said he'd go to work in the am & he'd be laying on the steps. He picked him up & said "Oh! You're a boy." A rescue group picked him up & had him checked out, got his shots & neutered. I said I'd foster him. He had no chip & I put signs everywhere & called the people who had ads that they lost their kitty. Alas-no one for Smiley, so---here he is in his new furever home & the 2 kitties have adjusted pretty well. I'm happy to be part of "his" family.

Bio:
Smiley is a very sweet & very well trained kitty & quite the guard cat & greeter. Quick on his paws, must keep a good look out when going in & out the door.
