Microchip

Today mommy, Warren and I went to the Van Nuys Pet Shelter to get micro-chipped. Mommy is so happy now, because she will never lose us! Warren and I behaved all the way there and back. We are getting better at traveling! The person at the shelter even paid us a compliment, saying we are well adjusted. :) Purrs!

New Home

We have moved to Sherman, Texas! It's only for 6 months, but mama flew us here with her. Warren and I were so brave and only meowed a little throughout the journey to our new home. Now we've been here a week, and we've gotten pretty comfy with our new diggs. There are new cabinets and hiding places to explore. I've also discovered that I can jump onto the kitchen sink from the armchair. Fun! Mama seems to disapprove though... but I'm too curious to care!

Warren and I have been chasing and attacking each other the past hour. Rarr! We are naughty, yes we are! Knocking over books and papers. Weeee!

Much Delayed Update!

Life has been busy in our household. Busy but good. Warren and I are all grown up now - a whole year old in fact! Mama has switched us to adult food. I in particular could use a little diet. I've gotten a little bit lazy, and mama has to coax me into playing laser tag. Humph! I prefer chasing balls that she rolls across the room. Those things get me going!

We met two new friends this year - Christian and Heather. They're mom's neighbors and love Warren and me! Whenever mama is away for work, they come visit to play with us. I'm a bit shy around them, but over time I've gotten more comfortable with them. Instead of hiding in the other room, I'll come out and play chase. :)

Warren and I have settled into a routine of napping in our own favorite spots throughout the apartment. Warren sleeps next to Mama's keyboard in his bed, and I sleep on the hammock above the tunnel toy. Sometimes we'll nap in the living room too - Warren on the couch and me on the cushy chair that Mama's brother left at our place. At night, we both sleep on Mama's bed to keep her company. She gets lonely, so we try to make her feel better.

Daphne

My 19-year old friend Daphne has not been feeling well. I'm really sad, because she is so weak lately that she does not meow and doesn't want to eat. Daphne's daddy has been bringing her to the doctor every day the past two weeks, and tonight she is staying there so they can help her go to the litter box.

New Brother

Hi everybuddy! I have a new baby brother, and his name is Theo, short for Theodore. Mama has him in a different room from me and Warren. I'm not sure why.
