Hi all! I'm Peppers, a REALLY BIG black kitty that was rescued from the PetSmart in Greensboro, NC - they have an area for kitties from the Guilford Co. Shelter to be "spotlighted". Anyway, I was in a VERY small cage (their average sized one, but I'm not your averaged sized black kitty) and VERY miserable 'til this nice lady named Laura came along. I showed her my manly charms and she helped me ESCAPE! (DO NOT EMPLOY THIS WOMAN IN YOUR LOCAL PRISON. MOL)
My favorite sib is Morticia - she's SOOOO much tinier than I am! The others still aren't quite sure what to do with a guy my size, but I'm just me, hanging out, being cool & waiting for them to "get over it"! I love to play with my Cat Dancer and my mylar teaser toy and ... well, sometimes I forget I'm as big as I am. MomKatt says she hears thumps now & knows that I've jumped down from somewhere!
Bio:
Peppers adores sleeping in our bathroom sinks. He takes up the ENTIRE sink AND spills over the sides! He loves to drink from the faucet, too. You'd think it was the greatest activity ever invented. I love his big, deep, rumbly purr and he gives love bites and always uses his paws with his claws SHEATHED. I love that he senses (knows?) not to do that. I LOVE my big black panther boy!
ON MAY 7 2010, PEPPERS WAS A DAILY DIARY PICK! WAY TO GO, MY BOY! AND ON MAY 20, 2010, CATSTER PICKED PEPPERS ONCE AGAIN AS A DDP! I'm proud of my literary boy!

Wow - I can't believe it! And I've been with my furramily nearly ... let's see ... time gets away with me so fast ... nearly 2 years I believe. So my Gotcha Day should be coming up soon. I'm bad with dates ...
But I KNOW today is my 5th birthday! I'm hoping for treats when MomKatt gets home. She never gives me treats 'cause of my weight but I think she MIGHT make a teeny weeny exception today, don't you?

I hope MomKatt doesn't forget my birthday's on Sun. the 27th ...
Sasha & I are getting along a bit better - well, sort of. I still like chasing & bothering her. But she's emerging into the house more. They all keep telling her I'd never hurt her (and I wouldn't) but she just doesn't like me. *sigh* Oh well you can't get EVERY cat to like you, can you?
I still don't understand why ...
Oh well, her loss. MOL! Meanwhile I got a great tummy rub from MomKatt this weekend ...
