Arrival Story:
After Stripes passed away, I wanted another gray cat just like him. One night my husband was reading the paper and the Humane Society had a picture of the
"cat of the week" in it. He looked just like Stripes and was the same age. I told my husband that I had to have him. The next day I went to the Humane Society to see him. He immediately jumped into my lap and it was love at first sight. I went back the next day and adopted him. They had already named him Thomas and we couldnt think of a better name (that is my brothers name). My granddaughter and her friends were with me and all of the crowd frightened Thomas so much that when we got him home, he hid for two weeks. We thought he had sneaked out the door and left, but we finally found him under our sons bed. He would come out and eat when no one was around. It did not take him long to get use to us after that. Now he is so attached to me that he doesnt like for me to get out of his sight. By the way, his nickname came about because from the back, he walks just like John Wayne. He is so sweet and mild mannered and has made a wonderful addition to our family.

I KNOW THERE ARE A LOT OF YOU WHO DO NOT REMEMBER US. WE USE TO BE VERY ACTIVE ON CATSTER AND THEN WE HAD A LOT OF SICKNESS AND THEN SIX MONTHS AGO, I OPENED MY OWN CANDLEMAKING BUSINESS. THIS HAS PRETTY MUCH TAKEN UP MY SPARE TIME.
I HAVE MISSED TALKING TO YOU LADIES!
ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS, WE HAVE SAID THAT WE WERE BACK AND THEN SOMETHING ALWAYS HAPPENED. MAMA IS GOING TO TRY HARDER THIS TIME TO BE ACTIVE. WE MISS YOU GUYS.

HELLO EVERYONE. IT HAS BEEN A REALLY LONG TIME SINCE MAMA HAS WRITTEN TO ALL OF YOU. (SHE HAS BEEN SICK).
I JUST TURNED 14. I AM NOT DOING GOOD. I HAVE A TUMOR BEHIND MY LEFT EYE AND BECAUSE I AM DIABETIC, THE VETS CANNOT DO ANYTHING TO HELP ME. MAMA, DADDY AND JIMBO ARE DOING THEIR VERY BEST TO DO EVERYTHING THEY CAN FOR ME. THEY LOVE ME SO MUCH. I WOULD LIKE TO ASK MY FRIENDS IN DOGSTER AND CATSTER LAND TO PRAY FOR ME. I KNOW I DON'T HAVE LONG NOW. WE ALL JUST TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME. I REALLY WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR PRAYERS. I LOVE YOU ALL AND I HAVE MISSED YOU.
