Still trying to be braver and not afraid of Lola and Petey!

Finally did it!!!!!!!

I did it, i did it I DID IT! I came downstairs, on my own!!!!!!! yep!!!!!!!! i was meowing upstairs and was looking for Gracie.. i just got tired of meowing and no one listening! so i walked downstairs... looked around.. and started exploring!! i kept bothering mommy too when she was doing some trip planning! then i went to the condo and was playing in there.. then i had some lunch.. then i had a nap.. then i played with Gracie for a bit.. then a snack.. now resting again! Mom is soooo proud of me for finally making my way downstairs!! she knew i would in time.. she just let me do it in my own time, never forcing me... so when i was ready , i came downstairs! it may have taken me six months, but who's counting! mol!!!!!!!

Becoming king of the house!

Yep.. i may not go downstairs ( yet) but i am certainly establishing myself as the boss of the kitties! Snowflake would be proud. He was the boss of the kitties before.. He was followed around the house by them, just everyone followed his lead. I hope to be that good one day, i dunno! but i am trying. Lola even cant get enough of me, rememeber she would chase me and hiss in the beginning?? now she cant stay away from me! but i just dont give her the time of day.. i really kind of ignore her actually! she plays " head butt" with me.. but my main squeeze has been and always will be Ms. Gracie.. she is the one for me! we are together 24/7! Mom hopes i will come downstairs eventually.. i havent yet. I walk in the hallway but thats about it... maybe some day i will walk downstairs.. maybe! maybe not! but i have all i need upstairs... food, water, toys, comfy place to sleep, litter box..! i am all set!! meow!!!

.But Lola chased me and i ran back upstairs.. ! I am getting there... very slowly but surely! this is the first time ever i walked down the stairs. I have to be able to fight off fears of anyone chasing me.. Lola chases me because she knows she can and I run.. but hopefully i will stand up to her and chase her back! she comes over to me other times and wants kisses.. so she is not looking to fight with me, but she knows my reaction when she chases me, she knows i run.. but the minute i run back at her will be the time i am totally free of any fears!! mom thinks this is a major breakthrough that i left the bedroom on my own..and walked half way down the stairs!!yeah, i ran back up, but its a step in the right direction!!! this morning Petey came in and although Petey doesnt really bother me, sometimes he chases me because he knows he can.. well today, i fought back and he actually ran away from me!! so i am getting braver !! a little every day!! pretty soon you will read diary updates about me rulilng the house! meow!
