Hi friends (if I still have any?)
I can't believe my last diary entry was July 23,2011!
As Mrs M the retired library cat would say, I am overdue! MOL
The truth is compared to the "Little Squirt" aka Ollie, who is not so little anymore, I am kinda boring.
I am a good guy. I am my mom's snuggle buddy. Lucky for her cause Teddy and LS are not so much.
LS seems to march to the beat of his own drum, you know? Actually, he is a little weirdo, but that's just my opinion.
We do love each other very much. The other night, we were on mom's bed.
All 3 of us. She was reading (as she does every night before sleep) and I was laying on her arm, purring away and air kneading. Suddenly I jumped up and went over to TB and LS (who were grooming each other) and I plopped myself right between them.
So guess what they did?
They both immediately started to groom my head.
According to my mom we looked so precious, we took her breath away.
Of course her eyes filled with happy tears cause that's how she rolls. MOL She wished she could do a video clip. The phone was not that far away, she could have reached for it. (it does have a pretty good camera; it is a smart phone) But she knew any movement would have distracted us. So she watched and took pictures in her mind.
The other day I also gave her the first silent meow she ever got.
She said I looked so incredibly adorable doing it that it had to mean something. She asked Mr Google, and guess what found.
"A silent meow is the highest compliment your cat can pay you."
And most often denotes gratitude and affection.
That would be me, Mr Affection!
Until next time.......
Orange smooches,
Milo
PS Tonight clocks spring forward! Here comes spring and longer days! YAY!

It's not good mews.It was our neighbor again.
He said,"kitty" is fine. But his friend was taking her back after all. Mom stood there with her mouth open. Before she had a chance to say anything he backed up to his place and shut the door.
Mom closed our door and slid down to the floor.
She pulled me into her arms and started to weep.
I purred and purred...
A note from mom:
I am devastated. In my heart she was already my Katerina.
My first instinct was to go after him and ask him a million questions. Beg him to give her to me as originally planned.
But I won't.
I may have a big heart but my bank account is
dangerously low.
I have to concentrate on my 3 lovely boys and give them the best
life that I can.
As always thank you for being so kind to us.
Love and orange smooches,
Milo and mom.

TB just went to lie down in mom's bed. He said to me,
You go tell them our story. After all you were there!
Huh? I wasn't there for all that long.
It started with a knock on the door...
My ears got all perky cause I thought it was my Auntie Ellie coming to visit me.
Could I have been more wrong?
NO!
It was our neighbor from across the hall. At first I was happy he was alone. He has these 2 mini humans and they scare me!Once one of them, the mini girl, sank her little fingers into my neck..
She was lucky I don't have a mean bone in my body......
Suddenly I realize he is not quite alone. In his arms, held like a human infant is a little brownish fur-ball with a floofy
tail.
I moved back a few feet.
I heard him say to mom.
I need your help. Please take her. My kids are too rough and she has been living under the bed for the past week.
OH NOES!!
I can see mom is trying hard not even to look at her. She knows the little thing will put a spell on her with those big eyes!
Isn't there anyone else who can take her, she asks with a sigh.
Long answer short, NO! He says if mom says no,he will take her to the SPCA!
Those are magic words to mom.She holds out her arms and the little thing leans out of the man's arms towards mom.
I hear her whining! OH! A tortie girl. She is so beautiful and she is purring already!
I see the little thing is licking mom's hand.
We are done for now!
Mom says to me,Come Milo,be polite and say hello.
No thanks, Mom.I will pass.
But she takes a few steps closer to me.Lowers the fluff ball
so she is eye level with me. She says nothing and I say nothing.
We don't do anything either.Well, actually I saunter away as casually as I know how!
My mom takes this as good mews.
Long story short. He got her from a "friend." Friend doesn't want her back. The SPCA is crowded this time of year. Kitten
season and the disgusting habit of leaving cats behind in empty apartments. I know that one. That's how I got to find my mom.
Screaming my head off in the empty apartment beside ours.
We don't know anything else about her, except she seems to be sweet and in love with mom already. When mom tries to return her, she becomes VELCRO girl!
We are told she is between 5 and 6 months old. That's it. And possible she will hate tiny humans for the rest of her life. MOL
Mom tells him to take her ti a vet, have her "fixed" and then she will join our family. (The good mews is, he is paying for this!)
That's where she is now. Of course mom is all jittery about the surgery. She says it's not exactly a snip/snip like for us
boys.
Her name is Katerina which for sure be mostly KAT.
Her page will be up next week.
I think mom should make a sign that says "NO VACANCY!!"
"If you have a cat that needs a home, please don't knock here."
Good idea guys?
Well, I am off to join TB for a nap.
Now I am exhausted too and it's hot even with the AC.
Orange smooches
