Arrival Story:
I was living in an apartment building when I met Furby's mom (Angel). She was a stray that hung around the apartment building. I began putting food out for her and she quickly warmed up to me. She became pregnant & soon gave birth to 3 beautiful kittens (Furby was one of them). When the kittens were about 3-4 weeks old she brought them to my door. I heard her meowing and opened the door. There was Angel with 2 kittens behind her & one she was carrying in her mouth. When I opened the door, she dropped the kitten in my apartment & walked inside. Eventually the other two came in as well. I had never planned on keeping these cats but I wasn't given a choice--Angel had decided she and her babies were gonna live with me and that was the way it was gonna be! Unfortunately one of the kittens disappeared (maybe one of the neighbors took it) so I ended up with Angel & 2 kittens (Furby & Shyly). I soon moved into my new home & I brought them with me. Angel & her daughter Shyly has passed on but I still have her son Furby. She left him in good hands.

There has been no sign of Furby. I am losing hope. Had this been any of my other kittys, I would hold out more hope but for Furby to be gone this long means something bad had to have happened. Maybe he was ill and went away, maybe he got injured somehow & was too hurt to return, maybe he got locked up's all the maybes that are the hardest to bare. I just pray to God that if he's gone he went quickly & didn't suffer. It's the thought of him suffering that has been keeping me up at night. Hard as it may be to accept that he may be gone, it is more unbareable to think that he didn't go quickly. Thank you all for so much kindness & encouragement, you have no idea how much your kind word mean to me. I thank God for Dogster & Catster people. I can barely see to type any more so once again thank you all for all the love.

Well I've been tagged by my furiend Flo. It's a St. Patrick's Day tag game. Here goes:

Q.-Are you Irish?

Q.-Do you and /or your family celebrate St. Patrick's Day?
A.-The ruffled dog & 'the warden' (Ebby) most likely will but I plan on sleeping thru it.

Q.- How?
A. -I'll curl up in the sink & sleep thru it.

Q.-Will you wear Green?
A.-Not if I can help it!

Q.- What will you wear?
A.-My own fur coat.

Q.-Do you like Corned Beef and Cabbage?
A. I'll only try the beef.

Q.-Do you believe in leprechauns?

A.-I think the 'yard warden' (Ebby) is one of them!

Q.-What would you like to find at the end of the rainbow?
A.-My sister Shyly & my cat mother Angel.

Now copy and paste to your diary and tag some friends...

I plan on tagging:
1. Ingen
2. TT
