Arrival Story:
I take care of a feral cat colony behind the Oasis Hotel here in Mesquite, Nevada. I feed/water them daily and also Trap, Neuter, Return (I have done twenty in the colony) and see them everyday. I trapped Frankie in January not knowing that he was an abandoned/stray at the time. I had even commented to my husband as to what a beautiful cat he was. Slowly over the months he has become one of the most loving, sweetest cats I have ever known. He loves to be picked up and cuddled and is one of the biggest lovebugs I know. I have also put him on a Siamese Rescue site on the internet as I will find him a loving, caring "forever home". I would foster him in my garage but we don't have any air conditioning in there and the temperatures have been hitting as high as one hundred sixteen in the last few weeks. I already have three cats and it breaks my heart to leave him everyday but I know he is safer there right now then being on the streets( he is in a secluded area of the hotel by the pool and it has a lot of bushes and shubbery).
Bio:
He has been vaccinated for rabies and I will charge a small fee because I will have him tested for Feleuek/FIV before adoption. He has also been neutered. I would do a "free to good home" but there are to many horror stories out there about pets going to animal testing labs and being used for bait for dog fights. I will also do follow-up's on anyone that does adopt him and might even do a home check to be sure he is going to a responsible pet owner. Holy smokes, me Cat of the Day YAHOO!! Thank you so much Catster HQ and Catster Lady for this great honor I am so very touched. Maybe this will get me enough attention that someone will contact my Mom about a possible "forever home" coming my way(bows his head in prayer with paws crossed). I also want to sincerely thank all of my catster furfriends for their pawmails, gifties and feline requests. I will contact you all personally. What a day, me and Mom are doing the cat dance all over the place.
