Trying to catch up! and Mommy had a dream...

I'm trying to catch up with all of my messages and giftees...it's hard because Mommy got home so late yesterday and today. I did get a Catfish Dinner from Daisy Mae...you can look at it if you'd like, at the link below! But look, don't eat it! I haven't had anything to myself in a while with Minka Moo always following me around! I may, just maybe, maaayyyybeeeee, give her a little, no, a tiny, itty bitty bite!

Anyway, I will be writing my thank you's tomorrow....Mommy just got home an hour ago from her first PT session for her whiplash...she's going to help me tomorrow she said. She can't wait for the 3 day weekend coming up....Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream...and guess what? Mommy was talking earlier and I heard her say, "I had a dream..." Well, she did. She dreamed of Ava last night. She saw her face so clearly for the first time in a while. She saw her shiny face and sparkling eyes. She saw her little wet nose and watched her little paws carry her tiny lady cat legs across the room...she was coming towards Mommy...along the wall heading for the bed. Mommy was thinking she was about to lean over and wait for her to jump up for a kiss...and that's when she woke up. She sat up and actually looked around the room....she had a dream....

I'm DotD! Yessss!!!

OMC! I can't believe it! I am so honored! I told Mommy she should be helping me more with my Diary entries...I am the HOH after all! Plus, I sit with her, next to her, on her...from the second she gets home until the second she leaves for work in the morning!

I am her first kitty and it was just the two of us for the first 3 years she lived on her own in an apartment. I've been with her through her grandpa's death and her daddy's death both in 2002. I was there 3 years later when her grandma passed as well.

I was there when she lost her job and took 2 years to find another one (and one that makes her happy!)

I was there when she met Mike, and I decided he was ok once he started to let me taste his cereal and ice cream.

I was there when they found Arli on their one year anniversary of dating. He was 10 weeks old and had poor manners and was a stinky guy, but I let him stay. I cleaned him up after the vet said he was healthy. I raised that kitten and he has grown up to be one fine cat! My best bud!

I was there when Mommy purchased a home. I hid for a week...but I was there!

I was there when the dog, Augie, was dropped off by his foster mom.

I was there the day Mommy came home with the cat carrier. She set it down, and opened the door...and there she was...Ava. The most beautiful thing I'd ever seen! My heart still aches for her...

I was there for Mommy and Ava when Mommy cried a lot and Ava slept a lot.

I was there when she carried that beautiful girl out of the door...and was still there when she came back with the carrier...only this time...it was empty....*wipes away tears with his little gray paw....

I was there 2 months later when she brought home a tiny ball of white fur she called Minka. I was upset...but I was still there.

I was there when she let that white ball of fur out of her room and into my house....and I was there to allow her to be part of the family...after a few days of the white ball of fur's insistance! That white ball is now called Minka by me as well, because I do love her!

Yes, Mommy, I was there, and I am here! I will continue to be for as long as the Universe allows!

Most importantly, I am here for all of the wonderful friends I've made on Catster. The Diary Gal has been so kind as to honor me with the DDP, as well as my sweet love Ava, and my little sisfur Lilah, both at the bridge....and even recognized our foster kitty Gracie when she found her furever home! I am so happy and can't wait to go and read my paw mail and see my giftees!!! Thank you all and I hope you know that I will be there for all of you shall you ever need me!

P.S.S. If anyone knows how to copy the Diary Pick picture on the home page, could you help mommy and me? She tried to do it for my dog brofur Augie, but never could get it to work!
